CUNTS
Ugh, this season is a goner. I'd rather sit tight and sign no permanent or obligation to be permanent players while Frank is still in charge.

It would be very spurs to drop a fortune on someone who's a dead man walking, on players the next manager probably won't want, and repeat the cycle of deadwood.

They sack him though, I want 3 first team players introduced in the same presser as the new man's intro one.

Yeah the utter worst thing we could do is drop a crazy sum of cash on more cloddhoppers with lead in their boots to save Frank’s haremball. Like £40m plus for Conor Gallagher. A guy who does nothing really well.

I reckon if the club signed a couple of top quality players now they could work under just about any manager, like Kane and Son did. In such case it doesn't really matter who the manager is.

Culture plays a big part in a player's work ethic and goals in life.

Hearing that some guy from Brazil is keen to join Spurs because he would like to live in London doesn't fill me with confidence. Spurs need players who are desperate to win trophies, at the highest level - and crucially want to work hard to do that.

We hear the same line from too many players now "I need to move clubs to win Trophies", "My ambition is to play for the biggest teams". They want to be gifted glory, not work for it. We need players who say, "I want to work hard with my team to make us the best in the World".

Modern footballers = Give me money, give me glory; I deserve it. I'm famous. Oh, and my leg is a bit hurty - I still want my money.

Gallagher would be an unbelievably braindead signing.

He would've made some sense going into Ange's second season as we needed legs and some proven PL talent, but we've since bought 2 players in Gray and Bergvall who are also best playing as 8s and have similar strengths (ball carrying, defensive busybodies) and weaknesses (progressive passing). And if the idea is to play him as a 10 why the hell did we spend so much on Xavi?

All Gallagher would do is clog up the squad and make it even harder to develop the kids we spent loads of money on, while still not solving the fundamental issues we have (lack of passing/technical ability).

If this is the type of guy Frank wants then I completely agree with everyone saying 'don't back him in the market' as it's a signing that will come back to bite us once Frank inevitably gets binned off within the next 5 months.

Gotta be a loan

Still strikes me as a bit of a random desperation loan, though.

Gallagher's not a bad player but he's an odd profile given our needs. Getting another midfield runner when what we need is passers doesn't make much sense. Would suggest our recruitment team have learned nothing and are just making the same mistakes again.

Yeah, would be an odd move. Bentancur just signed a 5 year contract. Assuming Bissouma is gone already. Maybe Palhinha's loan will be cut short?

Completely agree - cent stand him but I think he adds to our midfield for the next few months until Frank is gone

It's begining to look a lot like the Lewis family are full of shit like many suspected. We needed reinforcements on Jan 1st and yet all we seem to be doing is haggling over an £8m 19yr old Brazilian fullback , who let's face it could be anything.
If they do not act soon in relation to our manager and his style of play, add necessary players to the depleted areas of our squad and try to turn around this catastrophe of a season then it will be time to reignite the Enic protests, as it looks like only one head was cut off and the rest still remain messing things up worse than ever, bunch of shitehawks.
Why do you think Levy brought along Vinai the gooner?

Better sit on our hands for a bit longer then!

“I think it’s pretty fair to say that we are maybe a little bit short on offensive options,” said Frank before the fixture against Bournemouth.

What’s wrong with him ? ( Chelsea link aside )

Think he’s on over £200k a week. While we need to bring our wages up to the other to clubs I think this is crazy for him. He’s probably better than our other current midfielders though.

I can’t see him wanting to come back to England in World Cup yet on loan for the rest of the season. He is probably the right character for us. Poch loved him and Ange wanted him.

Agree up until the last paragraph. Not realistic in one fell swoop but yes.
