I honestly don’t think that would be anywhere near as bad a signing as people make out. Especially on an initial loan. It doesn’t solve our lack of midfield passers, but fuck me, it would give us a bit of energy in the middle of the park.

City absolutely don't have 3-deep class players in that position. Or they would not be chasing Semenyo.
Savinho is nothing special, Doku, one of those really weird players. Looks brilliant at times but something isn't there.
And mostly., we aren't City, who operate differently but bizarrely are lacking in a way I can't quite define.

Yes to be fair he's better than what we have so a first team player. Just dont think he solves any of our numerous issues and its yet another no 8. Could be a decent leader i suppose.
