Transfers The Winter Transfer Thread - 25/26

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I totally get the frustrations around the state of Spurs right now, including Spurs' transfer activity (or lack of it)....but why the heck has it become a sport now to take out that frustration and lash into Souza.
Most - if not all - of you bashing him haven't even heard about him until a few days ago, and have only seen him on Youtube. No, he is not the solution to Spurs' predicament, and he may go out on loan, etc. etc....and he hasn't even signed yet.
And yet Spurs fans are targeting him as if he's at fault for Spurs poor run of form.

And there's us

Looking to sign a 19 year old Brazilian full back with the massive problems we have .

Its a fucking shambles

We can't compete, mate. We're very, very poor

Another teenage being targeted - Mateus Mané (Wolves).

Wolves take cast iron stance on Mateus Mane sale as Man Utd, Liverpool are linked with January transfers

Wolverhampton Wanderers have made it clear they will not listen to offers for starlet Mateus Mane this month, as sources confirm interest from ‘more than half of the Premier League’, with Manchester United and Liverpool among his many suitors.

The 18-year-old has been promoted to the first team under new manager Rob Edwards, and he has been repaying that faith with a string of brilliant performances.

Sources confirm that more than half of the Premier League have watched Mane in action this month alone.

Scouts from United, Liverpool, and Manchester City were all in attendance at the Hill Dickinson Stadium to see him score against Everton, with the Toffees being another side that have watched him closely.

Woolwich, Chelsea and Tottenham have also watched, and we can confirm that they have all made enquiries with Mane’s camp – informing them of their interest.

Is this the first generation of Spurs squads that we genuinely don’t have any players who make you sit up ?

The decline in the last 10 years of talent is incredible
In my 40+ years as a fan, I always bragged to rival fans that we always have a talisman guy or 2. From Hoddle, Ardilis, Waddle, Gazza, Lineker, Sherringham, Anderton, Klinsmann, Defoe, Kanoute, Berbatov, Modric, Bale, Kane to name a few.

Unfortunately, I do not see anyone fitting this caliber. The closest is Maddison, but he is always injured and only played under two mediocre managers

Tottenham, Man City presented opportunity to seal deal for ultra-attacking defender – Sources

Tottenham and Manchester City have been alerted to the possibility of signing a Brazil international who has lit up Serie A since his arrival last summer.

Roma made Wesley Franca, 22, the sixth most expensing signing made by Serie A sides in the summer window of 2025.

The former Flamengo ace wowed at the Club World Cup before moving to Europe and if his first six months in Rome are anything to go by, the €25m / £21.7m paid was money well spent.

Biss and Sarr should be back Friday, both match fit and like new midfield signings?

*Just realised they play each other tomorrow so one will be back this weekend,
