Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Don't think I've ever felt such little excitement over a signing. Regardless of how shit we are I always try to see the positives when we sign a player but this time, I just can't be bothered about it. Can only hope this guy surprises me though. A 19 year old moving to a new country, presumably doesn't speak english very well and is moving to a club in complete turmoil. That can't be easy and he will really need all the support he can get.

Maybe that's a good thing.

Just imagine back to how you felt im relation to some of our excessively priced buys, amd how well they have fared.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different outcome. Everyone is tired man. We've signed dozens of these prospects. Look at the team we had out on Wednesday - bergvall, Tel, odobert. Nice players. Nice prospects. Not ready. Will they ever be ready?

Sorry for not getting excited. Hope the young lad turns into a top left back and has a long 10 year career with us where he wins trophies and we challenge for the league. But we've been here before. He'll be loaned back to Brazil next summer

Those magnificent seven were all experienced?

Eriksen and Lloris turned out to be bargains.

Two in seven about right.

No team has a rock solid recruitment plan.

Udogie, Bergvall and Gray i feel will all be very good players for us.

As I said. He'll be our big marquee signing although we might get someone terrible on loan and maybe splurge a few million on a couple of young unknowns...
And TF will still be here...all us fans know in their hearts that this probably happen...
It can be so depressing sometimes...
As so many people have posted before, "it's the hope that kills you"

Quite fucking obvious he's not our marquee signing.

FFS wind your neck back in.

Don't understand why we are looking to offload our already paper thin attacking lineup especially when the likes of Tel are finally starting to show something before getting replacements in??? Yet that fraud bentancur gets more and more playing time

Eriksen was a bargain. Prices have moved so much since that he would cost three times as much now.

Lamela was serviceable, even if a little overpriced.

Chadli too — and I think we fully recovered his transfer fee.

Soldado, Paulinho and Chiriches were a waste. Capoue Meh.

We should have kept Chadli instead of Lamela.

Chadli's Spurs record, in terms of goals and assists to games, is virtually identical to Kulu's.

I agree with you. But also…how many of our big money signings in recent years have worked out?

Just playing devils advocate. We need to spend wisely (and buy that I mean fucking make sure we are buying proper players not useless fucking crumpets)
True. I don't think I'd be confident about anyone we sign under Lange and Frank anyway. Regardless of the age or price.

I liked Chadli. Thought he was underrated.
