He should go- Frank seems like he’ll never play him. May as well just have Austin come in.
Yeah makes sense to loan him given he's clearly not considered a viable alternative to Vicario. We paid a fair bit for him given he's a backup keeper and he's just gonna stagnate on the bench.

Clearly a talented keeper but if we ever want him to turn into a legit first-team option he needs consistent minutes somewhere. Use Austin as backup or get some old geezer in on peanuts, and then loan out Kinsky for a while. Maybe by the time he comes back he'll be a first-team level keeper

Agree - he’s talented but way too young and inexperienced

Loan or sell with % sell on

What's he going to be? A 9? wide forward? Can't ultimately see him being elite in the PL at either. Lacks physical qualities for the 9, lacks dribbling ability for the wide stuff. I guess the club saw him as a Son - cut in, shift and shoot - type in the making, I just don't think he's going to hit that level. And Son frustrated the shit out of me plenty.

Would be really happy to see him go on loan somewhere he can play every week and then assess/cash out.
Right now he’s the only forward who I think might score against Villa

I’ll worry about what anyone might be in the future after that tbh

Our “leadership team” aren’t quite as good as they think they are. Getting rid of some of them and replacing them with better experienced players might be the way forward to reversing the decline actually. Trouble is, that’s expensive for Enic and they won’t have it in them. Start there and others may grow into the roles?

He'll no doubt throw his toys out the pram and play the victim to this post like he did the other day, despite him being the antagonist. Alluding to some made up tragedy.

At least then we may see some of our talented academy players that have been sidelined due to paying 40m a piece for foreign youngsters.

Good.

The last time we truly trusted our academy we put in a great performance against Elfsborg. Three scored and they've barely played a minute for us since.

Would love to see the youngens come in and show up the 1st team for the charlatans they are.
As always, our academy players are way over rated.
It's also a lot easier to bring them on for 10 minutes when you're 2 up than 1 down.
It's also not really Frank's fault he was given a squad of very vanilla £30-£40m players

Maybe he's under orders from HIS boss to play them into form?

Guess if Vicario plays tomorrow it means Kinsky is out the door before month end. Think a loan and minutes will do him good. Frank clearly doesn’t rate him so he may as well get some game time

I really doubt Frank will play him as he's already fighting fires on so many fronts. If Kinsky has a mare, it'll add to the big plate of "wtf is Frank doing that" that people are bashing him with now.

Exactly mate 👏

It's another one of those lazy, loser arguments that gets thrown around when our form and results are in the shitter

"Bwahh,,I'd rather throw the acadimee kidz in than play these primar :angryscouser: doners... bwahh at least they'd fight for the shirt blah blah"

ermm. how about no..lets calm down, have a nice cup of tea🍵 and rationalise it.

How about, we start acting like a Big Club acts, buy Big club players, pay Big club salaries, to justify our Big club ticket prices and our Big club revenues.

And we'll start to see the academy take care of itself, just like it does at other Big, wealthy football clubs, where any top talent coming through will naturally drip feed into the first team squad

agree with most of your take , first you need a good squad to compete, otherwise you can easily burn them out
but i would still think that one or two acadimee kiz to start games would be a good thing in the long run
but of course that said its much easier to do on football manager then in real life

ps: the only reason i think so is that i would like to believe that academy players (or players that supported spurs as kids) would give more of a fuck

Fact is though, no one can can now go and buy 10, 12 established top players in 1, 2 or 3 windows and thats what we need. Even then you need a squad. FFP limits everyone although we have more wiggle room than most. So in the meantime try buying 4 or 5 at that level now and in the summer integrate some enthusiastic younsgsters and take it from there.

Why do this crop of players escape intact? ...Again. Chairman gone, a lot have burned through 3 permanent managers and soon onto a 4th, dof gone from Paratici, Gabannini, Lange, Paratici (i'd bin them off as well) , medical staff changed about 3 times in 2 years. The squad needs gutting as its rotten.

Its how we rebuilt under Poch and painful as it is its how Woolwich started to rebuild, they binned off the egos and expensive flops like Aubameyang,Lacazette, Luiz, Bellerin and srarting promoting Smith Rowe, Maitland Niles, Nketiah. Even if they werent ultimately good enough it gave them a platform which Mason, Townsend, Carroll, Bentaleb did for us 10 years ago. We just didnt take advantage from a position of strength because of our board
