Transfers The Winter Transfer Thread - 25/26

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

If I fucking hear about us 'weighing up' transfer options one more time, I'm going to get a pair of tweezers and pull my own fucking chode off.

With Levy here, I’d say it will be hard to get a club to pay what we want.

Who fucking knows with this board?? They’ll probably sell him for a pack of salt and vinegar walkers

But what matters is that you believe both Levy and ENIC would sell one of Tottenahm's best players rather than show any ambition to add more quality to the group so the player would want to stay?

Levy, with or without ENIC, was always part of the problem.

ENIC will be judged by a harsher measure than Levy by the looks of it.

Levy had more windows than Safestyle to buy one and get one free.

ENIC's first window, without Levy, but with Levy's manager and Levy's DOF has not yet closed.

Things will never be right at THFC while Levy's fingerprints are still all over the gaff.

ENIC need to do something soon; I agree with that but the nostalgia for Levy is nauseating.

Bobb is 22, hardly a kid, and a clearly talented player, it doesn't move the needle in quite the way I think we all hope we will in this window but I wouldn't deride the club for finally targeting technically proficient players, he's a very similar profile to Palmer IMO, clearly very talented but pathway blocked to the first team at City, could easily begin performing well above his current indicators with regular gametime. If we can get him for £40m there or thereabouts its a no brainer IMO, he's a confident dribbler who's good in tight spaces and will massively help the ball stick in the final third, which is an equally big issue we have to actually getting the ball into the final third with a progressive passer in MF.
I'm not sure what the hesitancy is here, where Bobb is concerned. Before he got his leg broken, most on here would have sold their Grandmother to get him, he was sensational at the time. His injury really set him back.

For me, he's exactly the type of profile we should be looking at. Whether City would part with him remains to be seen, and what they'd want for him may also be a stumbling block, when you consider the sum they wanted for Savinho.

Id take him in a heartbeat though.

Olympique Lyon, who've been shite for years, got a terrible squad, no money (still facing the threat of relegation to Ligue 2 or below), play in crappy Ligue 1...

Well they've managed to bag Endrick from Real. Only a loan, but still. And he scored on his debut in the Coupe de France vs Lille yesterday.

They aren't a PL or CL club. They aren't based in London. They don't have a £1bn stadium and 7* facilities. They play the likes of friggin Metz, Lorient, Angers & co in the league. They can't pay huge wages. They don't have that special a relationship with Real Madrid.

And yet...
