Going into next season with:
6: New, Palhinha
8: Gallagher, Bergvall, Gray
10: Maddison, Xavi
A new starting 6 that can progress the ball.
Make Palhinha permanent if we can strike a cut price deal
Decide who has the higher ceiling between Gray and Sarr and move the other on.
Bentancur and Biss flogged.
Will Madders get back to his best? Can Xavi make 10 his own?
It's not a bad crop on paper we just need to get the 6 signing right and get a progressive manager in.

Depressing in truth, but this season is all but done, and whilst I don't think it's just about survival, if thr view on a caretaker is not a favoured move, then I don't know.
It's difficult to navigate through the crap.
A progressive 6 is the one. Xavi and Maddison is a lot of creativity energy but the lack of a deep passer is the clear problem.
Or who made him Captain at Chelsea and wants to come back to the PL after the World Cup …..

Gallagher for anything under £30m is a decent deal in the modern world : dynamic box to box player that we need, English, mid 20's, PL and CL experience... dont see why anyone would see this as a bad signing considering how utterly dysfunctional our midfield has been. Also as a Poch favourite that makes sense in the summer if thats the way we end up going.
