For why?
Loan Kinsky to not WHU.
Unless it's a sweetener for Bowen?

I agree , it seems a bit strange ; but knowing our management:

There’s obviously a super 4-D chess-like strategy , game-theory proven tactical masterclass in trading players , that’s about to take place in real time and right in front of our disbelieving eyes .

After all ; when it comes to this stuff ; they’ve never failed to amaze and astound us before .

Linked to Summerville??? What are we doing as a club? Lange is way over his head in this job. Get rid immediately. We desperately need a ball playing midfielder and we are after a sub par winger with 1 goal this season? We are already struggling enough to score as is. This shit is hurting my head

Either
he goes there and is on the bench and we get a bench player but we have to waste one of our 3 Champions League player changes on a backup keeper
or
he goes there and starts over Areola and we've strengthened one of the few teams below us

It's basically a lose-lose
Unless Spurs want to swap Kinsky's UCL slot for an outfield player and have Austin and Gunter as back ups?
We can get an emergency GK if Vic gets injured, can't we?

They still have a chance- I think they can catch either of Forest or Leeds. They'll need a bit of luck of course, but so would any team in such a situation.

Anyways... I don't know why they'd be gutting their team quite yet.
I don't think they do. They're so poor. The result against us doesn't count, because for the most part in the league, we make everyone look good. Leeds have been ridiculously unlucky with their results so far, their 6th in the form table since matchday 14, they're fine. Forest are hard to beat, ask Woolwich and Liverpool. The three down there right now will go down.

We've already got Johnson, Davies and Bentancur that'll be freeing up our 3 spots plus Kudus who will have a slot but won't be available. Swapping out Kinsky would essentially be just losing an extra squad spot for no reason.

Gallagher and Souza take the Davies and Bentancur slots. Tel takes the Johnson slot.
If we want to add to our UCL slots and keep Kudus available who else leaves the squad?

Nah- we'll be fine. Consider this:

ST - Solanke, Richarlison
RW - Kudus, Kulusevski
LW - Odobert, Tel
CAM - Simons, Maddison
CM - Gallagher, Bergvall, Sarr
CDM - Gray, Bentancur
RB - Porro, Spence
LB - Udogie, Souza
RCB - Romero, Danso
LCB - Van de Ven, Dragusin
GK - Vicario, Kinsky, Austin

Plus Vuskovic and Moore

This is just players under contract for us right now, who will be under contract for us next season. That is a full, complete squad already. We won't even have European football next season either- we could probably stand to shed one CM and one attacker in that scenario, too.

Mostly we just need to get healthy.

Upgrade Richy, Tel and Bentancur and we have a very good squad.

Just over a week left of the window, and no credible links to anyone else.
I think our business is done, going to be a tough slog until the summer, then once Frank is replaced see who comes in.

Had we beaten or even drawn against West Ham last week I would have taken us out of any relegation equation.

I don't think we are safe yet, not by a long shot.

Agree- if Spam are so bad and we lost to them, and we feel like we are a relegation worry, what does that say about all the teams between us and them? It's more fluid still than people are giving it credit for.

I like Tel honestly. I can see why folks would be upset if he were the backup ST behind Solanke going into next season though- it'd be somewhat of an admission that we had stepped down to being a Brighton-esque side and were less ambitious.

Agree though- the other most obvious places for improvement are Richarlison and Bentancur.

Vuskovic is a conundrum that will perhaps be solved by a change of formation. A good kind of problem to have, certainly. The next coach will hopefully have an idea of what to do. He's too good for us to leave out though.

If we have no euro football next season I think we could get rid of Tel (loan/sale), Bentancur (sale), Souza (loan), Moore (loan) and Vuskovic (loan), and still have enough depth to play out the season. What I'm saying is I think there is a lot of room to potentially maneuver in this squad composition, if the club wanted to.
