You haven't had an opportunity to see anything. 10 minutes here, 5 minutes there... how could you possibly make a call. Granted, these managers see him day in day out on the training pitch and maybe he doesn't show enough there to warrant a look. However training is miles away from proper game time. I saw him a couple of times when he was on loan at Portsmouth. I was willing him to do well but he just couldn't make an impact and the spent most of that loan on the bench or as an unused sub. That's the problem with loans to lower league clubs. These managers are still under pressure and need to win games. They will always go with experience over potential. Is he going to be another Harry Kane? Less than 1% chance of that. Is he going to have a career profile similar to Troy Parrott? Who knows? Is he going to be the next Kion Etete. This is probably the most likely outcome but do you or any of us really know and can say with authority that Scarlett is Kane, Parrott or Etete???As much as I would love Dane to become a 15-20 goal a year striker I've never seen anything to make me think that's ever going to happen. And I don't think any of our managers have seen it either.

I reckon our whole transfer team are crackheads, there has got to be some reason they cannot do their job right, it's fuckin depressing seeing some of the players we are supposedly linked with.
In the last 16 of the CL are being linked with an over the hill Robertson, a long past his best Sterling, a bang average Mateta and a distinctly average Johnstone, enough to make you grab a rope and look for the closest tree.
It's the same old Enic buy multiple cheap bang average players that will bloat the squad and eventually need to be replaced instead of going that bit more and buying the right player once.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to identify that we have issues in attack. We have a load of players out injured, most of our goals and assists from last season either left the club or are on the long term injury list and our top scorers this season are; Romero, VDV and own goal.
If you surveyed the fans on our biggest issue this season probably 90% of Spurs fans could tell you we need attacking reinforcement. And we needed it ideally at the beginning of this window.
I want the people at the club responsible for the transfer policy to act quicker and provide solutions to the obvious problem area's in the squad. You know? Actually do their fucking jobs?
