Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

To be fair Dudu, I don’t understand how it is possible for them to be unable to find players that could improve us.

I know it’s harder in January, but we are so shit that the options are far greater.

find and then buy

lets be real -

for a player to IMPROVE us, I would imagine there is a general consensus here that people do not want to just buy a mild upgrade but actually get a player that, long term will be a solution to our problems.

That is a certain level of player, likely starting for a team challenging for things.

Midseason, most teams are not going to sell players that are pivotal to their season's aspirations - sure, Man City have pulled it off - but we are talking about extremely rare situations

Set your alarm to it

LWB is the crazy one IMO

Frank just found a system that MIGHT work with 3-4-3 and he has 2 healthy wing backs…one of them is Udogie…

Who can he even sub in to rest people? Has to be Byfield now I guess
We have the Brazilian kid that they might just have to throw in there.

We're actually gonna do a zero net spend in January with 15 first team players injured and nearing a relegation scrap.

Hats off Vinai, Lange and the Lewis'.

Film Festival Greetings GIF by Atlanta Jewish Film Festival

fyi, Other than we do not have 15 players out injured.

14 players were ineligible for last nights game - half through injury other half not registered for CL

Or they are incompetent?

I mean, sure - to a degree they are - as every scouting team is

How many attacking players have been absolute flops this season - Sesko - Gyokeres two examples - but I'm sure we can find more.

As I said in my reply to bus-conductor bus-conductor - the players we want - the quality of player you want too - i imagine are going to be players that other clubs want and need to keep

This isn't excusing incompetence, but surely just identifying a player that we want to buy is a percentage of the battle - and in January it is even harder to prise players away - there is a reason why huge jan signings of super quality rarely happen.

Most of those ‘92 players had ‘stellar’ careers. Beckham was so successful that he became and remains a cultural icon.

If Gallas — who only managed to pick up a WC losers medal and back-to-back titles, iirc —qualifies as ‘fairly’ successful then you’d have to argue that players like Hoddle, Gascoine or Son had poor careers. Not buying it.
Bollocks....all three had as successful a career if not better than that Chelscum Arsewipe.

You asked for an example of success and I gave you one with interest but you didn't like that so tried to denigrate 3 of our Club legends achievements to bolster your assertions.

Tis true that subjectivity plays it's part when assessing what success actually entails but you might want to research the 3 players you mentioned.....I don’t need to.

I deliberately chose Beckham at the high end of the spectrum in order to give perspective rather than offer the likes of Bale, Modric & Sheringham who all also easily surpass your benchmark by some distance.

To be fair, we dont need rotation in February, and then Porto will be back (prolly only replace Udogie who inevitably will be out again 😅).

Sousa kid is mystery, just hope he can play 5-10 minutes here and there, but i get why they are interested in Robo.

Personally, i am ok with assumption that Udogie will be fit and we will use and test him a lot for remainder of the season. And if he gets serious injury again - we will fuck him off in the summer.

In my opinion fcuk the CL as it absolutely hides the issues this club face and are providing get outs for Frank and his paymasters.

It is however as it is described I think..
Bollocks to that.
A serious club would trying to capitalise on the opportunity that presents itself and do everything they can to strengthen the squad to give us the best chance of winning the damn thing

Looks like we have plenty of players that want to leave. No surprises there. If you could do and get a memory wipe as a fan, and

Everyone seems to want to get into the CL, but what's the point if a) we don't care about it and b) we get revenues from it but don't spend the money?

I'm sure this club never has any kind of long-term strategy, other than "Make as much money as possible".

I am 100% clear.

The CL for this club disguises and masks the seriousness of our mediocrity with this CEO, technical director and manager.

It is incoherent and as far as I concerned it continues to act like a stop to the kind of savage criticism that all above should be getting.

So for me, whilst I rarely if ever want us to lose, the CL is just this thing of hope that posters are now using as a further lever their position.

I predict that if we stay up, ENIC will sell up and if we go down ENIC will be hounded out.

And I would bring in a couple of players, because it's all well and good talking only of players who improve us, but we are so riddled with injuries that numbers matter or we risk over-exerting hose players who miraculously avoid the treatment room.

Shambles FC.
