Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Have we sold kinsky to West ham yet or is that our exciting deadline day move? Fuck me it's all so pathetic. I actually miss levy. Thats how bad it is. Atleast with Levy you knew he was waiting until the final day to penny pinch on a deal. With Vinai and Lange they were hyping up doing the business earlier and looks like they've ran out of ideas already

I don't mind repeating this ad nauseum but we are only allowed to add 3 players to our UCL squad.
I will be amazed if Gallagher is not on the list. That leaves two.
If we don't include Tel then that is a massive error IMO, but I can see that happening if Frank remains as manager.
It will be Robertson and who?

I'm not massively sold on Aklihouche. Nice player, not sure we can have him and Xavi in the same team.

Personally I'd go for Moussa Diaby on loan and see what's available again in the summer.

I think that's a smarter play than forking out £40m-£50m on a player we clearly aren't too sure about or we'd have pulled the tu
trigger already in previous windows.

Well Xavi can't play 90 mins of each match. Also we have no idea when/if Kulu and Madders will be back and back to their best.

Akilhouche is a good investment that drastically raises the technical ability of the squad

It's a snooze fest of a transfer window yet again, Levy may be gone but it looks like things have not changed, in fact they may have got worse. Like him or loathe him Levy at least had a modus operandi where as the current crew appear totally clueless.

True but we also have to consider we have Maddison and Kulusevski that can play in the number 10 position as well and whilst we have neither at the moment, we could have 4x10s once they're back.

£40-£50m is a lot for a square peg in a round hole long term.

Don't get me wrong I'd definitely rather that than nobody in the position we find ourselves in but think Diaby loan makes more sense for overall squad situation long term.

Let's see what happens

Duran is the type of player that could become a genuine breakout star. Felt like he was scoring almost every time he played for Villa, often in limited minutes, and a lot were absolute worldies.

Seems to have had a decent record since he left too: 8 goals in 1100 mins in Saudi and 3 goals, 3 assists in 550 league mins in Turkey.

Problem is he's got a bit of the Balotelli about him. Seems like a bellend and acted like an idiot when he wanted a move from Villa - didn't he even do a video of the West Ham cross thing when they were linked to him? Can see him being a headache of a signing and kicking off if the team's not doing well or he's not getting the minutes he wants.

Would certainly test our supposed 'no dickheads' policy.

Still a lot cheaper than buying a good player who could improve us

We more or less know the names being thrown around in the late stages of the window (particularly for mid(dish) table teams. You’re complaining about buying no-one and complaining about overpaying for an average forward. Strand-Larsen looks to be going for about £50m Who can we spaff a fortune on that will move the needle for you?

I love that word ‘spaff’. I just wanted an opportunity to use it.

Gallagher + 2 of

Tel
Dragusin
Bissouma

Rumors
Robertson
Sterling
Mateta

Also, if Kinsky is sold - We would have to add a keeper to that list as priority. Given Spurs are short on wings (Odobert is the only natural winger, Tel and RKM best played central) my $$$ would be on us signing Sterling on an 18 month deal at 250k a week.

Akliouche can play ACM and Inverted RF.

I know IRF/ARM is the priority of the three positions but we really just need attacking options that can rotate games and in games that mean an injury to one player doesn't immediately render us positionally defunct. Our bench/rotation is generally garbage. Look at Woolwich, Chelsea, Liverpool

Not top top priority, but I'll take any good quality attacking additions that make us more competitive and less predictable.

It's a yes from me.
