Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

When Levy left and people were saying we would know in January if the younger generation of Lewis's were serious, I thought January is not the time to judge but next Summer. However I did not expect us to be 14th in the PL with so many injuries. We have far too many players out on loan which hinders European squads as the youngsters are extra. For next season we will not have Europe and the problem will change from overplaying some players to giving everyone a chance.

We really need to look at those on loan and ok, reloan the teenagers but those that need to be included in the squad need to be accessed & integrated instead of someone else or got rid of. Vuskovic can replace Dragusin, Moore should be kept as an underage player.

Scarlett who will be 22 as not been able to get a start. I very much doubt he will get in the squad next season. His value in a sale will not increase significantly for a few months experience at Hibs. So why did we let him go when we are still so short of forwards? I also cannot see any gain in sending Kinsky on loan & granting Tel his wish to go would be criminal.

Whilst my expectations for this window were low, it has turned out very disappointing. Johnson was not the greatest but we are desperate. Gallagher was not what was needed & we still do not know if this young LB is going to get any mins this season.

Frank said that we will go big in the summer but with Kula, Maddison & Vuskovic coming in, we need that money to be spent on no more than 2/3 expensive but game changing players. However as we have found out in the last 2 windows those type of players will not come to us as they prefer the teams more likely to challenge for the PL title than us. Any change of owner will not change that in the short term.
It’s always fucking jam tomorrow with these cunts. Come the start of next September when they’ve done their usual fucking about all window, it’ll be “but we’re gonna spend big in January” all the talk of big £200m warchests and the likes.

It’s never gonna get better till these cunts are out.

I can’t help wondering if Thomas went rogue on this one or if they workshopped it as an idea?

Did they really get together and think that being transparent about a failed bid for a player who we are about to play against is going to get a positive reaction from the fans?
Part of me thinks he knows it sounds ludicrous and he means it as a "well just look at what I'm dealing with here" without openly attacking ENIC.

None of our managers have ever openly criticised ENIC, until suddenly they do on the way out.

He wasn’t being linked with City or Liverpool in the summer at all. Not properly anyway. The two teams that formally put in enquiries were us and United. If we’d had a bid accepted by Bournemouth, he’d have joined us, I’ve no doubt about that.

I'm thinking of after he signed his contract...even so I'm doubtful Bournemouth would have let him leave as they sold 3 key players and I'm doubtful he would have signed, put it this way there's a reason we backed off after we made enquiries.

Pretty sure this guy is full of shit but I like the link so I'm posting it

That’s flat out wrong as a search will show.

He was linked to both Liverpool and Man United (as well as us) in summer.
Sports Illustrated were reporting that he had politely declined us before this window opened as he was looking for ‘suitors higher up in the Premier League table’.
He wouldn’t come now because he can do better. We were 17th last year. He wouldn’t come then because he could have done better.

I know fine well what the reason was; The bald vulture knew West Ham needed to sell for PSR reasons, so Kudus was cheaper than Semenyo, and no doubt commanded a lesser salary.

I know he turned us down ahead of the January window. I’m saying he was gettable in the summer, the only two teams that are known to have made concrete offers back then were ourselves and Man United. That’s fact.

City weren’t linked with him back then, Liverpool probably kept an eye on him, but they certainly never made a move, they were too busy going after Isak, Ekitike and Wirtz.

If we upped our bid in the summer to a level Bournemouth deemed acceptable, and no matter how many players they sold, there’s always a number that can be agreed, and then offered the player a big wage, plus the chance to play Champions League football, he would’ve joined. The only spanner in the works would’ve been if Man United had countered our offer for him.
