Maybe - who knows.

But for sure, what seems clear is that we aren't that attractive as a club right now and for varying reasons.

The result is either that we accept it which seems to be what's occurring or we work our round it, which probably means slightly overpaying, just for the sake of being able to reset.

The owners are done, and much as many scoff at the suggestion, I think it's over for ENIIC, who were a West Han win away from being pilloroed today. It might/should still happen..

He is deemed good enough it seems for them, and is surely expected to make a bit of difference. Not a world-beater but a player who can add value. Surprising? Not really. From another planet? Nope.

Quite how this window has been allowed to be so devoid of sginings has got to be one of the biggest mysteries ever. It is shameful. It's inexplicable. It's an ownership who are on their way out.

But those who say we shouldn't just get bodies in are not really much better, because they are living in a world of yesteryear, and even those who constantly trot out their anti-ENIC tirades are also in this group. Can't have it both ways.

As for the CEO, Lange, and Frank, a triumvirate of sh!t if I ever saw it.

While I know we're desperate i also don't want us to panic buy and cause ourselves issues later on

I get your point but we are a huge ckub, and presumably have people paid al ot of money to overcome all this

No.players are good enough and those who are we can't get, so?

We're stuck and have to hope we get through the season.

It requires change, whatever that looks like, in tangible form.

Presumably we do, but there are 000's of posts here declaring them all incompetent

It's clear we're an utter mess

Not sure now is the time to go big

Don't want them buying 'Frank' players, don't trust them to spend well - could make mistakes now that take years to undo

I wanted Frank our last year, it's obvious there's loads of work needed above him too - would you trust these puppets to get anything right?

It's obvious they've written off the season, I think we need to adjust to and live with that

Hope that by the summer there's a coherent strategy

I do think there is a difference in 'going big' and not going at all, based solely on the circumstances.

It’ll be interesting to see if the organized walk out happens . If we’re 3-0 down it’ll be easy but if we are winning 1-0 I’d say nothing will happen

I think this is the start of the end for ENIC, so nothing will surprise me.

The decision-making and lack of noise, inactivity, general ambivalence from this board is unacceptable.

Posters/fans can't reasonably expect us to plunder insane amounts but they absolutely have a right to expect better than what we aee are seeing, from the players all the way to that useless CEO.

Same shit different wellies under ENIC. They stood levy down as he got so much flak from fans. We've got a great stadium but hardly any furniture in it. Need to go back to basics in summer and get poch back on a long term project to get us back up pecking order particularly signing top players who want to come.

Yellow Brick Road looking for the Wizard of Oz. He's not there.

But maybe Pochettino needs to return, do average, as is likely, just to put that to bed.

Same as the one or two who constantly go on about Postecoglou, although I think that is plain bonkers.

Some managers are suited to certain clubs. Moyes at everton, silva at Fulham and it's poch for us. Poch will no question get us back on an upward trajectory and the playing style. Unless united choose poch we should go for iraola but not sure hes keen on us. If not tuchel or de zerbi. The board need to eat humble pie about poch and admit they made a mistake not giving him the money for a rebuild like he craved. We definitely need to give poch time though if he does come back. It won't be a quick fix.

I was watching “ The whistle blows” YouTube channel yesterday , part of the CFT group , they had 2 people from the Trust on , they were not happy about the current mess but I still felt that they had excuses for reasons things aren’t happening as ENIC do . I know they have to toe the line but the excuse of FFP is not acceptable as we all know what our ceiling of spending is . Annoyed me with the “ It will take time “ , we heard that every window and we do the bare minimum

ENIC seem to think their new structure gives them a clean slate , which I find ridiculous
