Lewis is nearly 90, and has not been involved in running the club for years. I wouldn't be surprised to hear that he's in a wheelchair somewhere in Florida or the Bahamas and suffering from dementia. Not sure where you've been but it's his kids and their son-on-law who now make the (admittedly still shit) decisions.
 
So I'm no expert, but surely when the transfer window is closed, you have conversations and tee up transfers then execute them early into the window, which is what Palace did to get Johnson. Why can't we be proactive???
 
Ilzer went to Hoffenheim last January. In the summer they made a complete overhaul of the squad with 25 players going out. Now on third place.
Would love to see the same. New coach and sell 25 cunts.

That would require foresight and planning

Which would require some understanding of football, and how you're doing at it

Which is clearly beyond anyone at the club
 
I'd take marmoush for sure, I think hes a quality player.

We could really do with even just 1 quality player thatsl can come in and improve the starting 11.

We are bare bones right now.

This season is like a constant test of how many excuses a manager can have. Pretty much everything from the last couple of seasons has come together as a 'greatest hits'.

Only difference is that a lot of us are actually hoping for a Vicario injury now
 
What Gallagher and Pahlinha proved today is we should not turn our nose up and hardened, died in the wool, professionals.
