Vinai: "We will continue to invest in the playing staff"

Implying they believe they have been all along.

There's no "if".

You'd have to ask them.

Levy never was the purse-strings though......

Clearly people do not remember how he'd regularly have to go cap in hand to Joe's yacht at the begining of every summer? ...Or the simple fact that Joe held 3 TIMES the amount of stock he did.

I think you are reading between the lines somewhat to explain or partly justify the lack of transfer activity. Not sure why.

I think the window, given what's happening has been a shocker, and will be ENIC's last. Business as usual doesn't ignore unexpected circumstances. That's why you hear the term 'state of emergency' because it calls on additional resources.

That's my take.

I cba to go through it and watch it all again, but I'm almost certain on the Amazon doc it was showing him basically scrambling trying to get transfers approved for Jose but the other board members were saying we were only allowed to do loans - or some kind of scenario where had had to 'petition' someone like Collecott to sanction funds for transfers.

Meanwhile over in the "Daily ITK Discussion" thread...........

I don't know how much it costs to run a server, but in all my years of joining various web forums I have never seen any let alone so many begging posts as i have from SC for financial assistance?

Perhaps "Rob" and "A&C" fancy the Seychelles for next Summer's holiday rather than Butlins.

Either way, how can so many gullible idiots send money to people they have never met? It boarders on the need for someone to report this website to the authorities?

No actual ITK then? Just begging and tempting?

That was during the thick of covid though, wasn't it?

Trouble is most of the better youngsters are out on loan, Vuskovic, Moore, Lankshear, Phillips, Hall could all probably get some minutes at the moment. Dont know if we have a recall option on any of those.

Does anyone know how Phillips has been getting on?

I'd perhaps be inclined to bring him back for the bench if we're to disrupt anyone.

Loaning out Scarlett last week was foolish IMO.

I forgot we can't loan another player unless we get rid of Muani.

Yeh that's it for the window I guess, Maybe Robertson at a push but he's probably decided to stay due to their full backs being injured.

Is that true?

Sure I saw Frank yesterday (pre or post match, forget which) saying we would look at loans

Because people made a point about it how it was contrary to his statements early in the window

Its almost time for our annual cope:

"Judge them on the NEXT window" 2026 edition

The loan thing above relates

Really feels to me like they arent backing Frank.

I mean, I wouldnt, exactly, because I think he is awful - but if the club want to persist with him they really should be strengthening the side

I did think they might have stepped up after the CL 4th, no play off, guaranteed next round - but its crickets so far

TBH, I know little about his all-round game.

Just that:

a) He was scoring for fun off of Villa's bench.
b) Despite that Emrey wouldn't commit to him
c) he's been passd round like a rag doll ever since.

Basically my view

Seemed to be a developing player, doing well enough in his minutes to command more starts etc - then Villa sold him

Always assumed it was a PSR thing (as I usually do with Villa)

Cant really say I know much else about him though

Dhuran goes where he gets the biggest payday. I remember reading that his family pushes for him to move a lot because he kicks a good chip of his earnings back home.

This one stinks of pure desperation and lack of ambition

Seen it mentioned a few times in recent days

Player has a rare purple patch in a midtable side, what are the chances were we to buy him he would continue?

And not become just another body in the squad we struggle to move on, getting in the way of us buying real quality?
From a Fulham point of view
I’m amazed they have allowed this situation to get to this
And that no one has enquired about him
