Haha so true

Spurs fans = Moaning FC
Remember last summer when you was running all around the forum waving your cock around and blowing your ENIC trumpet when you thought we'd signed Gibbs - White and were about to announce Adam Wharton 😂 😂😂

Then you disappeared for a month

Oh man...that was so funny.

There's absolutely no way you can compare our ambition with Woolwich's.

Look how much they spent over the summer. They have incredible strength in depth now.

Havertz gets injured and they sign Eze within 12 hours.

Meanwhile, it's been clear we'd need to replace Son for at least 2 seasons and we're still twiddling our thumbs.

I absolutely hate to say it but I wish we had a fucking tenth of their ambition. These owners are taking us backwards.
Woolwich like a handful of other rivals want to build the best squad they can. Liverpool, Newcastle, Villa, United and to a lesser extent Forest. Our board do not. Its just enough to get get by.

The desire from far too many in here to be more like Woolwich is vomit inducing.

They've spent a billion and won nothing over the past few seasons.

So many Spurs fans so quick to praise them though.

Of course we want our owners - be they the current ones or new ones - to give us better tools to compete. Don't have to nosh off Woolwich all the time to make that point though.
Woolwich are our closest, fiercest and traditional rivals with almost identical resources and revenue streams.
So of course fans are going to use them to draw comparisons you patronising dimwit.

Sadly many ENIC fans have given up & think we shouldn’t expect to compete with the likes of Woolwich. We should be content looking up at them every season. They deserve big prizes not us.
Well not me! We should be competing with them or at least trying all we can to. Lie down & accept being the little loser neighbour. Or show ambition & fight to be the best we can be. It’s a no brainer.

It’s the double standard which is obvious.

If we are linked with a player out of nowhere on deadline day then fans will say « We Tried FC » or « too little too late ».

When Woolwich do it they are a proper club showing ambition.

There’s no difference between those actions but the judgement is opposite.

Agree but the judgement in context is somewhat forgivable I think given the behaviour and practice of goons vs the spurs hierarchy

Well, let's face it - this window has been possibly one of the biggest letdowns in recent history.
Specially when we couple it up with the clubs comments about ambition and whatnot.

Yes - I do get the part that our injury situation is having a BIG impact on literally everything.
But at the same time - NO - it does not really mean we could not sign or loan in anyone.

We are in start of February. Season ends in end of May.
Four months. If we have injured players that do not return for more than 2 months, we can just sign or loan in the player and THEN MAKE NEXT DECISION IN SUMMER. Meaning - bring in another fullback or defender. Use them during this season. Get everyone back for preseason, play few games and then just sell the ones that have impressed the least. It is really that simple and everything else are some pathetic excuses.

We are one of the richest club in the world for fuck sake. But our squad planning and player trading have been -and I am not overstating it - fully amateur - for years. And that seemed to have convinced some people here that this is how it should be and always will be. But no! It should not. We should do MUCH better.

I mean - so far in this window, we have SIGNIFICANTLY weakened our forward line (!) . We sold Johnson (which in isolation was a good decision, everything considered), then we lost Kudus for long term injury and Richie after that. How did we respond to that? BY LOANING OUT DANE SCARLETT ?!?! What the fuck is this shit really?!?

Literally - when we consider players in-and-out together with injuries -

OUT: Johnson, Scarlett
Injured: Kudus, Richie

In: NO FUCKING ONE
Returned from injury: Solanke.

We are MINUS 3 PLAYERS on that front.
Please tell me how can that ever be acceptable.

Less of the Woolwich adulation.

Still the club that protected Thomas Partey for years.

Don't give a fuck about their ambition, nothing admirable about them.
I don't care where they are in the League, I don't care if they win it, I don't care if they win the quadruple, I don't care if they put out a documentary on their successful season and it does a clean sweep of the Oscars, I don't care if they end all war and win a fecking Nobel Peace Prize.

They're boring and they're shit.

Arteta is a weirdo, all of their £50m back up centre backs that they populate their fullback positions with and their army of dms that they clog up the midfield with are all shit, their Social Media obsessed squad is all shit, Bukayo Saka is an overrated, stat padding, penalty merchant little bitch faced twat.

People can piss off hyping them up, they're a super powered Stoke City and despite the fact they'll probably bottle it anyway, if they do win the league then it's only because 19 other sides didn't give a shit this season.

umm - Gallagher?
And that Brazilian lad

Not defending ENIC here but that is actually 2 players "in"

I think by joining Woolwich over us he will miss out on a World Cup, play far fewer minutes, be regarded as a bench warmer instead of a poster boy, but probably will earn a little more money and get one of those Premier League winners medals that can be taken as seriously as Scott Carson's.

Whatever floats your boat. I think the whole childhood fan, club rivalry came into it at least partially which is not the attitude I would expect from a professional anyway, so fuck him.
Arteta has him as a back up player. So let’s see his ambition & how desperate he is to play football . My guess is he doesn’t mind putting his feet up & picking up big wages & medals. Which is most players these days.
