I would have been happy with Eze

I did think he was over rated, tends to go long spells without doing much, but when he's "on" he is excellent

I thought we could well be a better move for him

Woolwich would undoubtedly just play him off the left as Palace did, which, while he was effective - was never really his best position

I felt we would have played him as a proper #10, made him the absolute main man, and I thought he could have thrived with us in that role

So I was disappointed we missed out

Then we signed Simons, and I think everything worked out for the best :franklol:

And yet the same thing happening with Eze in which he doesn't fit Arse, the same thing would have happened for him here...he's a luxury player and not a natural no10, Xavi is a better signing even if he took a while to get going.

Apparently in for San Juan from Villareal.

I think by joining Woolwich over us he will miss out on a World Cup, play far fewer minutes, be regarded as a bench warmer instead of a poster boy, but probably will earn a little more money and get one of those Premier League winners medals that can be taken as seriously as Scott Carson's.

Whatever floats your boat. I think the whole childhood fan, club rivalry came into it at least partially which is not the attitude I would expect from a professional anyway, so fuck him.
I think he'll go, but dont think he'll deserve to - and I doubt he'll see much action

He was only ever going to play off of the left for them, and only ever going to be a squad player

As it is, at this point, he is barely that

I think us he would have played every game, and absolutely would have been played centrally as well, not just shunted out to the wing

Though as I say - Im much happier with how things have worked out

The annoying bit is Kudus got ran into the ground as he was our only hold up player on top of his other role. We get Dom back who can do that , but we have knackered Kudus by then

We can’t catch a break

I don't care where they are in the League, I don't care if they win it, I don't care if they win the quadruple, I don't care if they put out a documentary on their successful season and it does a clean sweep of the Oscars, I don't care if they end all war and win a fecking Nobel Peace Prize.

They're boring and they're shit.

Arteta is a weirdo, all of their £50m back up centre backs that they populate their fullback positions with and their army of dms that they clog up the midfield with are all shit, their Social Media obsessed squad is all shit, Bukayo Saka is an overrated, stat padding, penalty merchant little bitch faced twat.

People can piss off hyping them up, they're a super powered Stoke City and despite the fact they'll probably bottle it anyway, if they do win the league then it's only because 19 other sides didn't give a shit this season.
I think Saka must be one of the most overrated players going. I think because he goes on a few little dribbles every game he gets away with doing nothing for most of the game. I mostly notice him laying on the floor, diving or hobbling.
The league is very weak & has been for a while hence a sort of solid 8/10 Woolwich team are going to walk the title.
They would get destroyed by peak city, Chelsea, Liverpool , united etc.
But that’s why it’s so frustrating we are stuck with ENIC with no ambition & football competence.
This could easily be us cashing in on a weak title race. But we seem more concerned in supporting ENIC despite us being crap.

He strung us along to join a club who lied to him about being an important part of the team and now he almost never starts.

And he did it in a world cup year as well, lol.

Oh well, at least he might get a medal that he didn't play a meaningful part in at the end of the season.

2nd young player in the last 2 days with Chelsea recalling Sarr due to depth issues yet we finished yesterday with Gray, Palinha and a year long absent Dragusin and can't touch the current Bundesliga player of the season in Vuskovic even though he's owned by us.

Sorry it just seems daft.

We don't need a CB. There's no point to recall Vuskovic when he's killing it at HSV just so he can sit behind Romero, VdV, and Danso.

If we recall anyone, it should be Moore because we desperately need attacking help.

Even in the centre he looks lost.

Probably as simple as them having break clauses in those contracts

Whereas we know we don't.
