You go through the posts in this thread and I think we are split 3 or 4 ways.

1. Those who believe we could and should have strengthened.

2. Those who believe there were only 1 or 2 players that actually moved who could have made an appreciable difference.

3. Those who flitted this way and that, pretty much based on the CL results.

4. The rest.

Only the future dictates, which if any group were more correct than others.

I find it impossible to believe a team being managed in such an average fashion could not have been improved upon and without spending insane amounts.

I think the hierarchy of this club and the manager have let the fans down.

I hope we stay up and think we will but if that is the extent of it for a big club, hand over the keys, please.
 
Simply put, the point of any transfer window has to be to improve your team.
Yeah, yeah-January windows are tough.

This team is significantly worse off than it was Jan 1. We've sold players without replacing them with a team that is already decimated. We've shown no real want to improve this team.

I'm so furious with the 'direction' of this club. I don't want to hear from anyone about 'ambition' or 'fighting on all fronts'. We've been lied to for too long.

It is quite strange to purposely shift two attackers and not bring any in when you know you've already lost Kudus long term and kulusevski nowhere in sight

Not that bothered in all honesty. Don’t think any player that we could sign this window is changing much while we have this manager. Just have to get through this season still clinging onto our premier league place.

He'll be here until the summer though...and it's quite possible the next manager won't be any better. Any decent manager target for the job will see our ambitions dropping and will say no thanks!!...
it'll be another no hoper without doubt and no top player will want to come and so on and so and so on...forever!
