So none of the announced last October £100m has been spent on strengthening the team. we've actually spent less than last January when there wasn't a cash injection.

Peter Charrington stated the money reflects the Lewis family's ambition and the club's ambition, so even if the money was injected to reduce the transfer debt, reducing debt isn't really ambition, it's just balancing the books.
IMO if that's what has happened to the money we've had our hopes raised by the tone of Charrington's message.
