He’s not a cheap little bastard who refuses to sign players, so on that basis, yes.
Romero plays for himself when he wants to.

Part of the problem in my opinion.
Romero should concentrate on being available for 38 Spurs league games and stopping the other team scoring goals in every game.
Maybe not unity with the board, but he’s certainly got unity with all of us if he’s sick of all their cheapskate antics and lies too.
Do you seriously think he’s the only player in that dressing room that’s scratching his head at our lack of transfer activity? They’ll all be equally fucked off about it.

I reckon they told him there would be a change to transfer policy and salaries, and we'd be getting better players coming in, to get him to stay at the club last summer.
A bit like the 'gentleman's agreement' or whatever it was between Levy and Kane, that Levy reneged on.
