Transfers The Winter Transfer Thread - 25/26

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Wham very unlikely to get to 35 points (currently on 20 points and averaging less than 1 point a game).

Spurs on 29 points so need 7 points from 14 games to finish above Wham.

Yes we are vulnerable to injuries but we will get players back who will pick up points

So this relegation story is just a wind up - bigger real problem is not finishing in european places
Wham…only useless because Andrew Ridgley couldn’t sing.

Romero and Micky will 1 zillion per cent request a transfer...and kick up a major fuss when told it ain't happening. But eventually they'll go.

Think some big clubs may also go after Bergvall and though he sounds like a nice, grateful kid...not impossible his head will get turned and his agent will agitate for a move. Someone offers 40 odd mil, ENIC will defo listen.

Reckon Vuskovic will be an issue too.
The only possible ways that Romero and Micky will stay is if the Board appoint the right manager and spend huge sums on transfer fees.

People wouldn't give him a chance today, be looking for any excuse to slag him off.
He would have needed to bulk up.

One major thing may have come out of this TW though: maybe, just maybe – since I don’t expect many/most of the Levy haters to have this much sense – some of the Levy haters have finally realized that Levy was not the main obstacle for Spurs’ “development” …but rather Joe Lewis (and his family)…

Absolute crap.

Levy has micromanaged and overseen 40 plus transfer windows.

ENIC without Levy have had 1 so far and they have been saddled with Levy's managerial pick and his Sporting Director who is now leaving.

ENIC may well prove to be more of the same without Levy but;

Most of the current frustration stems from the 40 plus Levy windows where we were always left short.

What top tier player would want to sign for Spurs, with this manager, in the current climate?

What we should be blaming ENIC for is not sacking Levy after Conte went. Or Nuno. Or Jose. Or Poch.

We need to put pressure on ENIC to invest in the team or sell up.

Daniel Levy is going to become a billionaire off the back of THFC.

Please think about this.

That means appointing a Manager at the latest as soon as this season is over so we can keep our best players and attract the one’s we want. That will rule out any Manager including Poch who are unavailable until July after we have wasted weeks of the transfer window.

I've recently learned some stuff about Joe Lewis' doings in Argentina- sounds like he and family are more interested in all of that than the football club- especially lately. They prob just look at the football club as a salable asset rather than a real passion.

What was the point of buying takai? He came here last summer we didn’t send him on loan then gets injured . Now he is on loan. What are club up to with all these young players the ones we buy and our own. It’s a complete shit show. Not one us getting any first team football for spurs.

Not if we wait until after the world cup.

We also need a world class recruitment team, and that's too expensive, so you know that ain't happening either.

We're cooked. Until we're sold, this is the way the cookie will crumble. I'm resigned to mediocrity now. The last two years have been a joke.

It's the throw shit at the wall method. We use the same carefully thought out process for our first team.

That was never in doubt was it? They're an investment company... Levy was probably the only one of them that gave a toss about football. Joe certainly doesn't.

I'm still convinced the club was only passed over to the kids to protect his asset during his recent wranglings over US trading and thus Joe is still ultimately holding the purse strings.
