At this point no matter what he says during press conference - people will find reasons to go after him given current circumstances.

At least this time he didnt attack fans so there is progress there.

Like he said, win games and then you will have fans with you. But here you had to win at least with some style. And that part is probably new for him.

I don't know if that's true. If we were in the mix for top 4, playing Frank-ball, would anyone be saying "Get Rid"?

Did read frank is not enjoying his job at tottenham. Thats not good.
Yeah I saw that too, it's on the Sky Sports website.

Lets imagine we kept result at home against United - and we are 2 point away from top 5 place right now even with Frank ball. And i think we could have even more points- if he could play his terrorist ball at home more.

Question: would people be happy with him in such case? I'm not sure. Think only trophies could compensate it. Top 4 could be not enough in my opinion.

Players will latch onto that imo. Must admit since Woolwich debacle hes abandoned his massive long ball free kicks from our own half into the opponents box. Vicario did that end of first half and was an embarrassment to see that. Pub football. Since then havent seen us do that. Hes a dead man walking imo and will be gone in the summer unless form drastically changes. Normally one winner in any job if you dont enjoy it. Tbh i think his tactics work that are accepted by fans at a small club.

The context was perfectly normal.

He's getting fucking booed by away fans. How's that supposed to be "enjoyable"? What do you want him to say? "I'm fucking loving being hated by a large proportion of the fan base"...
Im a big believer of chain of events. Obviously any job has its ups and downs. With frank the only up i can think of was beating city away. Since then downward trend. Upto frank to change trajectory as hes paid 8m a year.. Tbh im baffled we arent going all out for a striker as it might buy him some time. With ange it just got worse and worse and farcical. Arguing and squaring upto fans was ridiculous.

Yeah fine but what does any of that have to do with him giving an honest answer to an honest question?

It's an awful thing for a manager of a football team to say in the media whilst he's still at the club, I imagine if a player at a top club did that, he'd be pulled in about it.

Tbh i think vdv and spence gave an indicator a few months back refusing to shake franks hand post match. Not good seeing that and rather unprofessional imo. Think the board will back frank in january then do an end of season review. See what pans out i suppose.

When was the last time a manager of ours "enjoyed" the job?
I think Postecoglou loved the job first season, and when the Robbie Williams song was adapted for him, probably up until the City match when he fell out with supporters about the meaning of the game regarding helping Woolwich.

Overall I think he was pleased as punch for season one, even if the supporters could see it all falling apart.
