Or maybe it was the building blocks of the painful re-build Poch said we needed all those seasons ago.

Bedded youth, gave us a style of play. Challenging the shocking ref calls we are always on the wrong side of.

And most importantly - Getting rid of "spurs"

You not being able to acknowledge any of this just points to how dumb you must really be. More bothered about media nonsense than realising what was truly best for our club.
He led the club to our worst finish since I’ve been alive. We’d been in the top 8 for 15+ years prior to that. The downfall is not all his fault but he wasn’t fixing anything. He would have gotten Forest relegated this season and possibly may have gotten us relegated.

League form is a far better indication of progress than knockout tournaments against clubs that we dwarf in revenue.

Ange taught this club it’s ok to show up every 2nd or 3rd match. It’s normalized now.

What are the arguments for keeping him outside of not having to pay his compensation?
Yeah its hard to find many positives

I'd say hes more professional in his squad rotations than posetecoglou.

And he can get clean sheets at a huge attacking sacrifice.(just not spurs is it)

Hes a terrible fit for us, its why I never wanted him but was willing to give him time.

Im struggling to see how he turns it around in a performance sense when he is under pressure to get results playing twice a week and without some of our better players available.

I'm always like give him a full season and then move him on. But I'm tired of him and his coward mid table genes tbh

Sack this bozo tonight
If the strategy was, let's start by stopping the rot and that shocking form that saw us lose 22 league games last season, let's build solid foundations first...then once we've started picking up more draws and wins (even playing poorly) and the squad feels more confident & upbeat, then we'll go for Spurs DNA football...if that was the strategy for the short to mid term, I could get behind it and find a way to cope with the pain of watching boring Frankball. But that's clearly not a temporary thing, that's just what that man is like and that's all he's got to offer...which is so not Spurs.

Won't matter how long he's here, whether we sign better players, whether Solanke returns soon etc. It will always be shite under him and he could genuinely get us relegated, if not this season the one after that.

Frank was a terrible mistake, one more from the most inept owners & board in the history of our wonderful club...and in the top 3-5 in PL history.

Time to get rid. Thanks for nothing, Thomas. Take Goon, Creep & Crook with you on your way out.

Again, just choosing to ignore all the context to fit your narrative.

The guys just a coward and a complete pussy.

We’ve got a great collection of up and coming talent looking to make their mark in the game and we can’t possibly leave them at his mercy.

The board needs to make a quick decision, fuck the optics.

Expecting nothing less than similar performances to this week in week out. You cannot have his negative approach, long ball set piece tactics and poor substitutions and expect to excite your fans, play decent football and win games. He is a busted flush, think it's fairly obvious some of the players have zero respect for him and once you lose the dressing room you have no chance. More worryingly some of our decent players from last season, namely Bergvail are going backwards at a rapid rate under him.
Can only think it's the poor availability of a alternative that still has him in a job.

Please sack him, enough of this shit. The Club can't continue to charge these prices for this football....it's horrendous.

No joy, no excitement....nothing.

I feel sorry for frank. We've lost our two best attackers in the last 3 years and his three best front players have all been injured since the start of the season. Replaced with uninspiring signings. Sure another manager might have us 1-2 places higher but some of you need to get a grip if you think these players are good enough to turn up week in week out.

What is the context? A ton of injuries because he broke our players’ bodies?

We were going absolutely nowhere, regardless of whether we prioritized the Europa or not. Ange is lucky he had an easy tournament to fall back on.

22 league losses, 38 matches.

Compared to the Europa, 15 matches, half of which are against teams that probably get relegated from the PL. Its an easy tournament and Ange finished 17th in his toughest competition.

Kane and Son in this match would have been an absolute murder scene tbh.

It's amazing people can't see how nuanced it is between "negative football" and what it could be with at least one player in the final third who can control a ball

Unless we're going to go for a top manager and throw a shit ton of money at the squad, it feels like sacking Frank will be just like rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic.

There needs to be a cohesive plan going forward rather than just bumbling along with shite managers and the occasional good manager who gets fucked off because we won't invest the money needed to create a winning squad.

This is it unless we get lucky with another Kane from nowhere.
