The longer we keep him the more damaged we become. We need to be on the ball playing front foot stuff. Even Mason would do that as interim and worse case scenario is we just keep losing which is happening under Frank anyway. Next managers job gets harder and harder the longer he stays.

Get Ange back to work with Frank, joint managers

Between ones ultra gung ho style and ones ultra never go style they'll strike a perfect balance and we'll win all the games

Since that loss in the super cup to PSG, he shows how poor he is at substitutions.

Why take Odobert when he was linking with Xavi and RKM well, scored a goal????

Instead, take Gray off and put Solanke in with RKM and let Xavi and Odobert have more targets to apss to.

I'm going for spinal fusion surgery on Monday so I organised dinner for me and missus tonight so missed all of game.
We shit again? Any even glimpses of organization or a plan?!? Anything???

The second half which was half okay in spots because of chaos rather than a plan will save him I'm pretty sure. I think they really don't want to be seen to sack another manager and that second half gives them an out to keep going.

If he's really your guy and you're with him. Then fine, that's one thing.. But show it in this window by giving him some more options.

But if it's what i suspect, which is that they're waiting for the moment that will bring the least amount of heat on them to sack him. Then that's just cowardly. And it does nobody involved any good to keep things going if you're not behind him.

Cliche game of two halves

First half classic Frank turgid shit we come to expect

Second half came out like classic Ange chaos ball - quite fun, much improved, hard to say was "good"

Vinai gave Frank a lobotomy at half time, I think

You could argue that the season's over. We're out of both the domestic cups, we're obviously not winning either the Premier League or Champions League and as shit as we are, it's very unlikely that we're getting relegated this season. But I still disagree we should just wait until the summer before we let Frank leave. The longer he stays, the more toxic it will get, we need to stop the bleeding. Who we will bring in, I don't know. I've seen some people suggest Redknapp as an interim. A 78 year old who hasn't managed in almost 10 years. But I'm not even against and that really tells you a lot about how shit the situation is.

With Frank saying everyone at the club is aligned…

Here is the most optimistic take…

I think they’re looking at Woolwich in the early days under Arteta and thinking … let’s tolerate a couple of shit seasons and keep recruiting and playing young players. If we get past this season then next year will be a little better. And in two seasons we’ll actually have a good team. There are some very high ceiling players who are 5 years off being excellent and will be good Prem players sooner - Vuskovic, Gray, Bergvall, Odobert, Tel, Moore, Souza hopefully… almost none of our players are in their prime age.

There’s no way for us to buy success sooner so play the long game.

Not saying it will work but have to take what we can right now

The post-match events at Bournemouth and today amply demonstrate how frustrated the senior players are.

That is down to Frank because he is not respected by the senior players and harnessing the teams (sometimes chaotic but good to watch) creativity and not giving the on-field leaders enough discretion - that environment spreads to the dressing room.

I am not advocating a Bring Back Ange (aka BBA) campaign but it most certainly would not be worse than where we are now......

Best of luck with the surgery mate!

Unfortunately nothing new learned today. Poor first half where we sat back and let them dominate us. The usual coward approach where players look paranoid about keeping defensive shape and look scared when they get the ball. Second half was much better but that's because we basically threw all the defensive tactics out the window and actually went after them. Palhinha came away with alot of credit - he drove the fight and smashed into plenty villa players

He has been ceding possession heavily recently, starting with the game where he allowed Palace 62 percent: A team that average just 43.

Brentford a few days later had 56 despite averaging only 46, and Sunderland a few days after that also had 51 despite averaging 42. That's certainly a brave strategy for a Spurs manager to resort to for consecutive games, but I'm not going to get into that.

My question is rather this: What's the point of ceding possession, defending this deep and with this many men if you're going to allow the opponent to force the ball right into the heart of your defense at will anyway?

This is not a one-off incident: We had a similar embarrassing display against Woolwich too remember, where they carved us wide open despite Frank using an unprecedented 5-2-3 solely to shut up shop.

Not good at all.

Problem with that is - is Frank the one to get these players to their potential levels?

Or will he nerf that development?
