Just never fit here almost from day one, despite the early win against a very beatable Man City side. He will get a decent job elsewhere, I expect him to end up in Germany at Dortmund or Leverkusen, that sort of club.

Definitely protecting him, just imagine that these came out in November, no way he would have survived until Feb.
Yeah it's a fair point. I was actually really surprised at how little came out in the press about Ange after the fact. I suspect the way the players all sent messages of support, encouragement when he was sacked was a sign - they genuinely respected him and didn't want to shit on him in the media even if they did have doubts at times. I haven't checked but have there been any messages of support at all from players towards Frank? I doubt there will be many, if any...

Fucking hell! Journos proper sticking the knife in on the fans when questioning Keith Andrews about it...

You'd swear he was doing a good job and us fans were being ungrateful sods!

It's sickening.

Another mention of the injuries too...obviously in the same context as it was for Ange?!

Bunch of nobs.

I think the true level of this squad is how we played in his first few games. Which is to say actually pretty good. Thereafter I think he lost and confused the players, who didn't respect him. Unfortunately injuries mean we probably can't just re-set to that level, even under a good coach.

That sound you heard was a massive YELLOW WALL crying out in terror before they were suddenly silenced...

And all that could be heard was the frantic chewing of gum...

This whole "entitled Spurs fans" narrative is absurd.. There isn't a single team in this league, all the way down to Wolves, where the manager would/should feel safe in their job if they were on a run of 2 wins in 17.. Regardless of any caveat.

Porro and Pal have come out so far, that's it.

Kinsky and Dane Scarlett liked the sacking news.

Just the latest in a line of fall guys, the injuries have been ridiculous, but the buck stops with the owners.

The squad has lessened in quality through a modus operandi of poor player recruitment and systematic penny pinching. It's imbalanced and not strong enough to compete at the level of European competition and the PL.

We have a spine that includes Vicario and Romero, I'm sick of both of them. Look at what we're like without Harry Kane.

We were almost a one man team for too long. This has been spiralling for a long time now.

Good luck to him, nice guy. The white elephant stadium is becoming a managerial reputation graveyard.
