Did he though, we are in the CL next season , maybe that doesn't happen if we parted ways with Ange last Christmas......
Levy took a risk on keeping Ange so long, but for the most part that risk actually paid off , we also lost a lot of games by a single goal , so with a good tactically acute manager bringing across a whole new entourage of coaches hopefully it shouldn't take much to get the team back to winning ways in the PL.
There’s no way he can do worse in the PL. The only way is up really.

I don't know where we will finish next and I'm not going to try and guess , but I am sure that TF will set the team up to it's strengths , with proper shape and a set of tactics to suit the game , and most importantly he will have the defence sorted .
Those things alone will ensure that we will be a far harder prospect to beat .
Setting up to play good sound football first and the results will follow , this has been a premise of football for as long as I can remember .

Depends who he got in and whether that person was immune from the sack as long as we were still in the Europa league.
There's many reasons why Ange "won" the Europa league, with talent being quite low on that list.

So do I, fortunately it is something I use a lot for work, so my work pays for it :)

I asked AI to make an image of Thomas Frank with Levy and to be creative - This is what it came up with :D

Levy slowly morphing into Chester Bennington

He'll certainly be crawling in his skin when frank hands him his shopping list

Fatty I don't want to relitigate the past it's all speculative would Hulk beat Superman in a fight stuff. But glorious though that Europa League win was, things fell our way draw wise in a wonderful way. I think had you swapped out the incumbent with any competent coach we would imho won that tournament. Now here's the thing maybe that luck is attached to the particular coach in some weird unquantifiable way. His mutant power if you like. But I honestly think any number of EPL current/past coaches get our squad to that end result. And the behind the scenes stuff I'm told was a mess might have meant we got to the final with more of our first team fit.

Thomas wasn’t my first choice but he’ll have my support.
When we appoint a new manager does the wee badly one take advice? It appears to me he does his own thing. I need a chat with him.

Now that Frank is the manager and we are all behind him, what are the expectations do you think that Levy has placed on his for this coming season?

I think Levy will expect a Europa League place ie 5th and a good cup run or cup success. Whilst financially, top 4 would be Levy's dream, we are so far behind other squads and we are unlikely to buy top players to challenge for top 4, whilst those currently in the top 4 only have to buy a couple of real quality players to get even further ahead i.e. they could buy two £80m players each, and we'll be buying £40m players.

I don't think Levy will have set anything. I think that's going to be a Vinai/Paratici thing.

Probably to get to CL knockouts and a European spot

I think Frank is very good – you can’t question what he’s done at Brentford over 6-7 years, it’s highly impressive. He’s erudite and will handle the media lot more smoothly than Ange. I do wonder what the brief is: winning a trophy isn’t enough so presume a strong champions league run? Also how much money to spend? There’s a talk of takeover which will be interesting, I imagine his ability to work with a tight budget is what attracted Levy…
