I'll put my hand up for Solanke
I'd imagine it helps significantly to have a proper well drilled coaching team behind him in this respect, as opposed to a bunch of rag tag available-at-any-time blokes that Ange decided to roll with.Great to see he had 2 separate plans for 2 games within 3 days. With such a big coaching team hopefully congested schedule won't be that big deal in terms of tactical preparations.

He doesn't seem like a bad guy tbf. It’s worse now they called him a “fanalyst”
You mean opportunist grifter
feel for them a bit, lost their manager and 2/3 best players all in one summer."Yeah, Frank didn't really make much of a difference at Brentford.. He was just the face of an elite data and recruitment team. They'll be just fine."

I hate when people are designated by media outlets as the "representative" for a football club. It would be one thing if it was pitched as just the opinion of one geezer who happens to be a Spurs fan... But it isn't. It's pitched as "Lets hear how the Spurs fans are thinking". And it's very annoying.I don't really know him but he pops up on Sky every now and again and I usually roll my eyes when he speaks.
Not sure why I dislike him but I do.
Decimated.feel for them a bit, lost their manager and 2/3 best players all in one summer.
yea weve suffered enoughDecimated.
Anyway... fuck 'em.
There misery will be our glory.
I'll take that exchange.
The choice of pre-season opponents definitely helped him wet his feet before the real action started.
Three lower division sides to try out a more front foot system. Then Woolwich, Newcastle, Bayern and finally PSG in the super cup to go at bigger opponents.
I’d heard that as well………..you’d have thought Sherwood might have mentioned it.Sherwood lobbied for Kane's inclusion in the first team ahead of a return for Berbatov.
Did well enough as Spurs interim to be offered the Villa job where he progressed and integrated Jack Grealish into their first team.
Amazed he was never offered further managerial opportunities tbh.
Some sneered at him but I think he understood young English footballers better than most.
Who? Milesy?

What a difference from the statue on the sidelines, we had last season.
This is the thing, without Ange we don't get CL and we don't get Kudus for a start, we are now in the TF era but would be nice even for some of the Ange haters to accept that although he wasn't good enough over all, we don't have that night in Spain without him.Something Ange did really well was keeping the squad together and making them keep believing despite us being absolute dog shit on the pitch. Obviously he was an incredibly motivator otherwise the Europa League wouldn´t have happened and for that I´m always grateful. That´s why it was good timing to cut ties after the season. Ange left on a high and we could bring in someone who´s very decent tactically while also being a good motivator.

Wonder what his tipple of choice was? I'm thinking he goes for a guest Ale
