So we’re essentially no further ahead of last season at all. But you knew that really as we all know what you want to happen here.
It wouldn’t want to be worse than last season. We finished 17th, one place off getting relegated and our worse league season as regards points return in 90 years. Only the cumulatively worst performance of the 3 relegated teams in the 1135 year history of top flight football league kept us up.
Plus Richy is probably fucked off now... as if he was going to agree to go to Palace!!!
Come on Sidford... don't forget Tel and Danso are part of this window... we got in theere early.... so early we fucking signed them in January!!!
But even Forest are outspending us and proving to be a better pull. Wake up, we need to spend 200m for parity...

We had plenty out injured for large chunks of last year, as it stands we are a stronger squad at the moment.
I agree that we need to spend to fight for a top 5 finish, but this squad as it stands is stronger than last year given the amount of missed time through injury last year.

We absolutely are not, with Son leaving and big injuries to Maddison and Deki we are down 3 attackers who produced 67 goal contributions last season.
So far all we’ve done to make up for that is add Kudus. When you consider that we are in the CL and not the EL this year, we are absolutely miles off. We will not be able to start 11 fringe players on a Thursday night anymore, so we need quality in attack that we can rotate and we simply don’t have it. As things stand Kudus will have to play every minute of every game if we want to win.

We are literally missing 67 GA from those players.
Whilst Kudus is exciting and will outperform what he did last year, he was still only 8 GA himself or whatever.
