We've had to arrest a normality of losing, and the knock on is that some of this isn't pretty.
Long term, he's going to need to sort it out but we've tried losing (lots) whilst playing front foot football and the general consensus is that we hated losing that many games.
This is stability. It's ugly. But give the fucker a chance. And let him have more than one fucking window to sort the players out.

You really can't discern any difference in how they speak about the game, players and coaching between Nuno and Frank? Now I get that ultimately results and performances are what matter, but given its so early, the question is whether we have faith in him.
Hang on, a defeat not good. But a draw away to Leeds is not a bad result for a WIP team. Who would solidly "expect" to win there in the PL? About 3 or 4 teams max. Perhaps only 2.
Depends on the performance really, if we stink it out then there's gonna be a meltdown, if we smash them but can't finish there's room for optimism.

Disagree. A draw at home to Wolves is a shit result yes. Disagree on the others. I doubt any PL manager or oppo player regards a draw at Brighton as a shit result.

We were shit when the players came back too. We lost close to 2/3 of our games. Including when the majority of players were fit.
I just don’t see us competing with the old big 4 financially. Then I add City to that.
So I put us 6th personally. Which is pretty much what the Deloitte money league says every year too.

So no context now when we've had no Maddison, Solanke, Kulusevski or Kolo Muani all season? At least 3 of those would be starting most weeks.
No real left winger, Richarlison plodding around at centre forward and a choice of Bergvall and an adapting Simmons at no 10.
I'd put a broadly equivalent context now though. Maybe more disruptive:
- new coach, tactics etc
- fair number of new faces in first team, not yet got right chemistry
- two established No10s missing
- two out of three no9s missing
The options were uninspiring but Glasner was a logical choice. Proven winner who plays good football. I'd of had Iraola above Frank if I was picking a "prove it" manager. Heck I might even of had Russel Martin over Frank
It also amazes me that people seem to think this team should be top 4, when:
A) We finished 17th last year
B) Even Ange didn't finish in the Top 4.
It might take a few windows and more than a small selection of games to get somewhere.
Yeah agreed. How Poch kept that team competitive and hungry is amazing. I think next season when the figures come out, our commercial muscle will put us level with Woolwich and Liverpool and comfortably ahead of the Chavs although they will benefit from the CWC money so might be closer than I think, but be that as it may I only put us behind the Manchester clubs... we are similar to three other clubs and light years ahead of the rest...
This is an interesting take. You might be on to something there. Maybe TF will end up rooting out those who can’t lift themselves to the next level
So you want context to support your argument but dont want to consider it for last season. With all the injuries we had under Ange people still wanted him gone, myself included but its not okay to hold Frank to the same atandards... we will undoubtedly finish higher than 17th this season but its like this is a new standard to measure how successful Frank is... I can see it now when we finish 16th and the fan base is seething, you'll be on here saying we finished 17th last season like its some kind of new normal.
