Why was Ange afforded so much slack by fans for having an "injury crisis" but yet it isn't (seemingly) discussed at all that Frank is still suffering from injuries to

- Maddison (long term)
- Kulusevski(long term)
- Dragusin
- Takai
- Davies
- Udogie
- Solanke
- Tel
- Bissouma

and also now
- Romero

That's almost an entire 11 worth of players, or at least it would be 9 out of 11 players that would have started a game under Ange.

WHAT THE FUCK IS FRANK DOING TO THEM IN TRAINING HE'S RUINING THEM WITH HIS CRAZY CHAOS GAMEPLAN 😡

Is actually how the injury crisis narrative played out IIRC :D

Another stupid narrative... lets look at everyone's first x number of games in a blind Win/Draw/Lose... you could see what Poch was trying to do. There were green shoots... right now we look like a brownfield cess pit where the only thing likely to grow is stench... and its not getting any better.

Poch had green shoots because he had Verts, Eriksen, Dembele, Kane, Lloris, Lamela, Walker and Rose to work with.

Please, for love of God, just try and show the manager some support until at least the annual Chav scum debacle.

The squad are, in the majority, fucking bone idle and seemingly incapable of even looking interested. Far too comfortable at the level we are at and at the salary they are on.

It is the Spurs problem. We’ve recruited players where we are their ceiling so they have no motivation to try and be better to get a move from us to a bigger team. It has been the same for years and I’ve sworn part of the reason why we can never move on. As Conte once said, “the players, they play without pressure”. Got to hope that with Levy gone the mindset to win will change but I wait to see as it will take years to achieve.

So who do we sign? Youngsters that have an eye on us as a stepping stone to the 10-12 teams bigger than us? Players that are experienced but with a point to prove, like Grealish? Champo and lower Prem players? It’s a puzzle alright.

No... if we get rid now we can salvage the season before it completely unravels... the players are completely checked out... they can see Frank is completely out of his depth and devoid of any attacking principles. If this carries on we will be without European football which means no investment in the squad....

I would definitely have taken Grealish, said so in the summer.

But yeah, youngsters who think they will eventually be bigger than us. For all we and they know we might grow together. I suppose we did try this with Doue.

It is difficult but I think the culture is important. Levy fostered one where winning wasn’t the be all and end all. If that can change then that will be the driver to get rid of the comfortable players because people like Vinay, whose job it will be to oversee the club will be out on their ear. Something that couldn’t happen with levy unwilling to sack himself.

It always goes back to the owners. I suspect it will be more of the same with Enic but we’ve got to hope I’m wrong.

Umm... okay then if that's the case can you and that FeelsPapa bloke go find a thread and/or forum to fight with ThickWank and whichever other "cultists" want to engage in these pointless flame wars while the rest of us normal fans just get on with trying to make the best of the miserable existential experience that is being a normal Spurs fan? Cheers ta very much... :D

People say the squads not good enough yet expect the manager to perform miracles. We're 2 points off city and 1 off pool (who have spent 400m) without maddison and kulu plus we havent had solanke all season.

Frank might not be the answer but we need to give him a chance.

Because we knew two of them were out long term going into the season, and spent £110m on replacing them.

The only first XI players going into season that are out are Cuti, Udogie (shares time with Spence anyway) and Solanke, who's about as good (shite) as Richy anyway. Normal injuries for this time of year and we've had a healthy first XI for the most part. Having those back wouldn't stop us playing like absolute shite.

Cute.

The cult of "we're pretty shite right now"? People defending this are cultists. This is Spurs, not Burnley, expectations should be higher here.

Who is actually calling for Frank to be out?
I would say if results and performances over the next 5 games, then yes. I just want him to stop treating every game like it's PSG away and have a bit of balls. Were terrible in all thirds of the pitch right now. If he can get us going and even attempting to play any other way bar, get it wide, then, as I've said a million times, I'd be happy to give him more time. We created 0.17 XG from open play against a very average Villa side, who just lost to Go Ahead Eagles, and should've been thrashed against a very, poor Monaco side with half their first XI out. We have more XGA than XG in most games and Vicario, despite his flaws has us in a fortunate league position compared to performances.

It's not good enough.

Our attack is poor but our midfield isn't that bad, I think the manager is misprofiling some of these players and his midfidles setup needs to be questioned.
I think in isolation there's a lot of talent in the midfield - some of the youngsters could come very good in a few years, Palhinha's great at what he does, and Bentancur is a competent PL level midfielder.

Problem is it's a fucking terrible blend.

Bentancur, Gray, Sarr and Bergvall are all best as number 8s, none are exceptional passers and Palhinha is our only no 6 and he's also a limited passer. None are especially good playing further forward or especially creative.

We clearly screwed up the profiling of the signings or they've developed in ways we didn't expect. Either way we badly need to sign a midfielder or two than can actually spot a pass and have a semblance of creativity.

I have no problem with people having reservations about Frank as a manager and no problems with people truly believing he's the best manager for the job right now.

I, and many other people, are just weary of of people who are complete absolutists. Whether it's you and Meghst with your Chicken Little acts or ThinkTank and his ilk smearing anyone who expresses doubt as an "Ange apologist" (quite why anyone would need to apologise for a bloke who delivered a European trophy is beyond me but hey ho...)

Frank is doing his best with a limited squad just as Ange did before him.

The squad is the issue. Has been for years. And that was BEFORE we lost the two genuine world class stars we had.

Can we at least get to the annual Chav debacle before losing our collective shit please?

Did you ever watch his Brentford?

Why would anyone expect him to do something different with us?

One person?

I mean, I didn’t want him, still don’t, and if we could find a better coach I’d happily see Frank gone, but I’m not actively calling for his sack right now, it’s pointless.
