They are in touch with Poch behind the scenes and will coordinate the Jan transfer window with him so that when he arrives in the summer he's got a head start in terms of squad development.

That is what's happening in MY universe.

Had the sense that Brenford coming out flat and disorganized played a nonnegligible part in what in hindsight was a false dawn, but tried to cling on to some discernible changes in team shape and mentality as evidences of a change of direction. Right back to square one.

The fact that he still adheres to this highly simplistic view that putting more bodies behind the ball and stifling players' passing and movement will automatically lead to better defense irrespective of how good you're at keeping the ball away from your goal through ball retention and attacking play is infuriating.

That's 20 goals conceded in the last 12 league games [out of 16 overall] now: On pace for 63 in a full season with a fully intact backline. When's the penny going to drop that he needs to attack better to actually defend better, as somewhat evidenced by the clean sheets of the previous two games before this one?

In principle I agree, coach needs time but he's gotta be showing more than this in December. The squad may not be great but it isn't get smashed by Nottingham Forest bad, struggling to get a draw against wolves bad.

You gotta ask yourself, if Frank had the exact same squad as Woolwich, would he be top of the league right now
Id suggest he'd probably have them 7th

Is what it is, not the first manager who can't make the step up . He'll get sacked and stick to levels of managing the likes WBA and Charlton
He'd probably have them right where they are because they're the best built squad in the league. Legohead has had seven years to buy players who all fit his system. Meanwhile, we're stuck with a squad that's a mishmash of Conte, Ange, and now Frank, all of whom have completely different tactics.

He was talking about possibly extending the other day, not sure he'd want to leave mid season regardless!
Unless he thinks winning the conference with Palace is a dream come through then I'm not sure what else he can achieve there? He's already won them an FA cup and since then has lost Eze. Club will be listening to bids for Guehi in January. Wharton and Mateta will both be sold in the summer.

Spurs might not be better than palace right now, but the potential is there for us to grow and compete on all fronts. The football pyramid means Glasner has already hit his ceiling at palace and I reckon he is smart enough to know that.

Yeah, changed vote to OUT now. The players are the main problem but I want an absolute tyrant next, someone able to kick some fucking lazy arses and drop a few of the big names indefinitely and demand replacement.

I'm still clinging on to the hope they sell the club in the new year and the first thing the new owners do is ditch Thomas Frank and put their own man in place. Poch or otherwise.
Until everything changes, nothing changes

We've been saying tbis for ages, what potential have we shown over the past few years.

We are not that attractive club unless we spend money and buy better, up to the Lewis family to change that..not sure they will though.

Not even about spending money at this point. We spent a small fortunate on players for Ange just to finish 17th in the league.

Spending the money isn't the problem. It's the talent identification and never giving any manager (other than Ange) enough time to build a cohesive squad.
