But Spurs had already lost to Brighton 3-2, having been 2-0 up and Palace 1-0 at this point.

The home defeat to Ipswich came on November 10th and we then drew with Fulham and lost to Bournemouth and Chelsea.

Ange was done by mid December and the consensus was pretty much that he needed to go by that point.

Like this season it was the manner of the defeats as well as the results.

This was of course after the end of the previous season where Spurs failed to finish 4th.

But of course;

You & Shady knew all that already.

No Problem Yes GIF by Vevo

Err no.

That was the period where Vicario, Romeo and Van de Ven were both out injured.

The 'consensus' was that it was due to injuries and needing a better backup keeper than Fraser Forster

Ange out was a thing by the start of December.

I was unsure at the time because of the odd decent win against decent opposition.

It's why I remember it.

I think I actually stuck up for and backed Ange at this point.

"
At this stage I would be full Ange out if there was a credible person to come in and sort out the mess that is Tottenham Hotspur. But I can't think of a candidate. Nobody can turn this ship around. We are mediocre from top to bottom as a club and it seems to be by choice of the management.

This is such a big match for Frank, today. And interestingly enough, it’s not about win or lose. It’s going to be all about the style of play and the motivation of the players.

Not the style of play.

Let's assume Frank is right, amd that he has a way in which he wants to play, and that the players are acquainting themselves to it, that will take time. Time Frank may not be given.

The motivation and attitude of the players, if we go a goal down, which is likely and to any substitutions is arguably the barometer I feel. If they are evidently lacking, I think all Frank's confidence in what he is saying will count for nothing.

Words are simply cheap.

Thought Frank looked shagged out in the press conference and sky interview. Cant deny hes working very hard. Having richarlison spear heading the attack has to change. Id put muani up top with Simons on left. Bergvall needs to play as well. Do think scarlett should come on last 20 or 30 as van dyk legs are going.

If he goes down the cowardly route today against a Liverpool side that are frail themselves then I fail to see how it can ever get better. Attack them from the start with purpose and the crowd will be well up for it and Liverpool would have walked into a baying mob.

Play the cowardly shit and he has to go tonight - even if we somehow won, it would prove he does not understand the assignment

More like you can just about plot the moment Vic goes down against City in that chart.

All blue then -pooof - 4 of the back 5 are gone and never play together in the league again...

Conte man... we fucked that up big time

Why would a keeper correlate to XG created or conceded?

They're generally a link in the chain after the later and unrelated to the former unless they're super-good with their distribution (which he isn't).
