I like the cut of his jib. Seems like a decent guy, I think he’s smart and could do well here. He’s not Australian which is a bonus.

Not as good as Scotty Parker but probably more so than everyone since Poch.
I'm sure a random poster on SC is the only person to find out that Levy will be removed. Not sure if already posted but saw this on SC…
“The last word on spurs podcast reporting that Thomas Frank is a done deal having been interviewed 4 times prior to the euro cup final. Also reporting Levy will be removed and that the hotel build to be ceased and funds reallocated. Peter Charrington to take temp Chairman role.”
We are working our way around the globe. It's Denmark's turn.I like the cut of his jib. Seems like a decent guy, I think he’s smart and could do well here. He’s not Australian which is a bonus.
According to some such as Chris Cowlin it is being reported that Marco Silva is close to signing on the dotted line. The plot thickens!
Chris Cowlin's not a source.. He's just spewing the same Portugese article that worked everyone up this morning.According to some such as Chris Cowlin it is being reported that Marco Silva is close to signing on the dotted line. The plot thickens!
Never said he was a source to be fair.Chris Cowlin's not a source.. He's just spewing the same Portugest article that worked everyone up this morning.
That's exactly how it's been for the players too. Play good in 2 games and crap in the next 4-5.The MOST appealing part of managing Spurs is they pay you for 4 or 5 years and you only have to work for 2 !
It's a problem that might take 2, maybe even 3 coaches to fix.And that’s the problem , we used to be a massive club , the expectation of the fans should be winning trophies and that incudes the PL and CL.
Unfortunately after how ever many years of ENIC we have turned from being a football club into a business, and the goal of this business does not include trophies , top 5 on minimum spend is the dream.
I just have a spidey sense that Levy might get cold feet on Frank
He’s a bellend I don’t know why people listen to him. He’s one of those moaning loudly about how awful Ange leaving is. Why isn’t he so upset about being 17th and losing 22 league games in one fucking season? I don’t see the same negative energy about that.Chris Cowlin's not a source.. He's just spewing the same Portugese article that worked everyone up this morning.
He'll be haggling as usual. I'm surprised he's going after anyone currently in a job, not his usual M.O.the £10 million buy out sounds like something he wouldnt want to pay. He didnt want to pay similar to get Slot after all.
(1) They're not "revolting", they merely expressed their thanks to Postecoglou and wished him all the best.Does it really matter that a group of players that got us 17th are revolting?
Bit harsh, they’re not all that ugly.Does it really matter that a group of players that got us 17th are revolting?
Basically levy’s wet dream , does he want to turn us into the U.K. version of Dortmund where we buy loads of young talent and sell them on ?We probably could've done. But since then he's had two more years of over performance relative to his budget. And he's shown that he can lose his best striker and rebuild his attack without missing a beat and can compete for europe. So in the last two years he has become more appealing and qualified. That's not saying he's become a dream appointment or anything. But he's certainly has better credentials than he did two years ago.
Two years we also did need a manager that saw anything other than complete attacking football as anathema. We just had Jose, Nuno and Conte and we needed to be reminded of what we are in regards to style.. It was important and in that regard, Ange more than served his purpose from day one.. Now, trying to find some more nuance and balance might be the correct next step.
Not saying that it is for sure going to work out. But I think there's definite logic to the appointment.
