No im not a vegetarian but wouldn’t criticise anyone who was

Poached eggs done properly and eaten at the correct time of day shouldn’t need red wine!

Actually I’ve just had a small ribeye with a large glass of red wine but the wine was slightly spicy which wasn’t necessary!

Aldi has lot to answer for!
I thought you were a loyal Waitrose man…

:pochcry:

Stansted is the worst and waited 3 hrs with wife and daughter for a bus after returning home from Cyprus the other year!!

I’m sure that I’ve whined about it before!!

Then a 4 hour drive back to Lincs

I wasn’t a happy soldier!!

Halloumi and peaches salad.

Grill the halloumi and peach slices. Get any salad leaves of choice, halve some baby tomatoes of choice, thin slices of red onion, parsley or coriander. Light dressing of choice - I go for small amount of olive oil, balsamic, lemon juice and a bit of sugar.

Mix all together.

Eat.

Had it tonight, for supper.
Halloumi works really well with a lot of fresh mint. Ideally in a homemade flat bread with thick slices of good tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, a drizzle of olive oil, maybe some lemon and chilli sauce too. I like to throw a handful of chillies straight onto a frying pan, roast them well and blitz whole adding vinegar of your choice and salt- keep it in a jar and use a spoon when frying something or making sauce, same as you would use fresh chillies, it only gets better with time too

With 20 years of Spurs under my belt, I’m a lot more relaxed about who our managers are these days.

The most successful Spurs managers of the last 20 years — Jol, Harry, Poch, Ange — weren’t exactly big-name sexy appointments at the time. Frank has the Spurs feeling to him.

I have a feeling we're going to find out if that's true pretty darned quickly.

The best Spurs managers, the ones you named, are all in their own ways romantics about the game.

Is Frank a poet or is he a software coder glumly tapping at a spreadsheet? We're about to find out.

If Frank signs, then he has bought into the plans that have been laid out to him.

He will know we are already behind the curve on signing new players and hopefully have a strong idea of the philosophy and direction.

I hope he is content with the aspiration and the limitation and that he has enough confidence in his ability to mould whatever payers he has/acquires to produce a team that competes.

Right now it's an unknown in terms of expectation because our current squad is no better than top 8,and arguably top 10 with a CL campaign to with.
