He’s a great manager, no doubt about that. But at this club, the board and fans can turn toxic fast, I’m not sure he’s got it in him to handle that kind of pressure. It's no coincidence that we've had 19 managers in 25 years.

Yeah, I just have a lingering sense that the stage is going to be too big and the lights are going to be too bright for him.
The only manager we've had since we were a smaller, humbler operation that didn't by nature have the absolute command of the stage and the narrative (for good or ill) was Nuno, and his inability to do that meant that there was a real sense in which he never started the job in the first place.
I expect he was cross.
If they take any longer to announce this , he'll probably already be sacked when it goes out
