Doubt It Lonely Island GIF by BuzzFeed

I already posted who it is!

Its interestingness is overrated, but it still is interesting.
Speculating/debating how our team might change, who might leave, who could be signed, and what we as supporters want - yes.

Getting all worked up because "x has had conversations with y" or "a has told b to sign c" or "club m wants fee n from club o for player p".

All bollocks, who fucking cares? Too many people, obviously, but fuck me is it stupid.

Well the journalistic standards for churning out zero reporting clickbait on that stuff are way, way lower in the UK/Europe, and that's where someone like Romano has radically changed the ecosystem.

It used to be a full summer of "Tottenham handed major BOOST in effort to sign 'amazing' 23-year-old rated at £50m" then "BLOW for Daniel Levy in pursuit of £50m international attacking ace" and they're both literally just aggregators quoting like Harry Redknapp or Paul Robinson calling into TalkSport.

To go from there to paid programming from agents trying to mess with the market is a big, big step upward.
