I've spent the last week following all 182 pages of this thread and cannot express how excited I am about this appointment.

We've had "proven Winners" We've had foreign flops and we've had unprovens with success.

I was sad to see Ange go, because, well it's Ange, but it was absolutely the correct decision and there was no indication he has anything more to bring to the table.
I've always liked Frank and had always assumed he'd be picked up by a Bayer Leverkusen or other "top Club" in another European league.
The fact we are getting him and what looks like his whole backroom staff is a massive improvement on Ange's random, unproven appointments and the prospect of proper training from a nice guy feels very much more "Spurs" than what we've had in recent years.

I cannot wait to see what he/they can do and can't think of a manager that we realistically could have got that would have been any better (and that includes the likes of Ancellotti)
I agree on your last point. As I've absorbed it this week, I'm really happy we got Frank not Iraola

FFS I've twice watched the Lineker - Frank dinner thing on BBC iPlayer. Certainly weird, and ever so slightly homo-erotic evening they had together at Lineker's place. But despite the peculiar occasion, Frank comes across very very well.

Hope he & his coaches have been using this time to watch vids of our players playing last few years and can hit the ground running when the players come back to training

This is a little deceptive.

The last 3-4 years since joining the division they're in the top half of the PL in net transfer spend, with Raya and Toney being the only players of note they've lost.

Its pretty clear that the Thomas Frank news must be very close now :

- About 8 coaching staff rumoured to be joining him (Justin Cochrane Claus Norgaard, Matt Wells, Stuart Lewis, Rob Burch, Chris Haslam, Joe Newton, Tom Perryman)
- 3 coaches under Ange announced as leaving.

Not a lot more to be confirmed ..... apart from the main event Mr Franks !
So Ange had 5 less coaches than Frank does? Crazy…

You know what I'm really excited by this competent coaches. Get some decent players too and this could be new dawn
I'm absolutely delighted earier than maybe all but one or two I was pointing out what was obviously massive holes in our coaching setup. The evidence was everywhere, and I kept thinking if I can see it why are all these grown men ( forget Ange) repeatedly allowing the same errors. It made no sense unless you simply accepted that they did not know how. You have to look at Jedinak and Raimondo and the others and ask what value were they adding. This clear out is very very over due.
