He means the league and another competition surely

Technically we won the EL and reached The SF of another cup last season

And honestly, who gives a fuck about competing? The goal of a competition is to win it. Need to let 2019 go even more than we need to let least season go
I think it's always determined by the league mate.

You have to be competitive in the league and a cup or multiple cups.

It's can't be just cups because they are one off results every round.

Should have asked him how long does he reckon to be on first name terms with Daniel ? :)

Wonder what his pre match schedule will be , will the players be coached in as they did with Poch , Jose and Conte or will they arrive by car as they did with Ange.
Anyone know what he did at Brentford think some teams stay in hotels the evening before matchday even for home games and we have our own player hotel at Hotspur Way.

So every premier league team must be looking for every way they can to reduce the number of intense movements and sprints?

Oh wait, they aren’t. They are looking for ways to be more intense.

“Sprinting causes injuries “ you say…

It’s that simple? You read the studies?

Or you read an article on the Athletic that massively simplified the findings of fairly small sample size studies that actually needed much more context included, like travel schedule, recovery times between games, diet, total KMs ran and Aerobic loads?
There are plenty of medical papers on the subject available on the internet if you want to read up on it.

There is a direct correlation between the number and intensity of sprints per game and the risk of hamstring strains.

It’s pretty obvious Ange’s system and its kamikaze high line was a direct factor in the number of hamstring strains. To claim otherwise is just plain comical.
