Honestly, it was pre season but I was way more impressed by certain things than I expected to be

Not getting carried away but at least we could see what the idea is and that it can work with the players he has.
Of course. It's clear that he's working on structure and not being an easy team to play against.
Will our attack suffer for that? Probably, but it's certainly a positive start.
In fairness to all involved, it's pretty clear how much easier it is to manage a game with VDV and Romero fit and firing in the center. Vic, Porro and Udogie/Spence too.
Ange exploited that in a very different way than Frank has/will, but that's the strength of the squad and both of them know it.
It's just so pathetic at this point.
It is pre-season lets not all jump all in straight away. We made this mistake with Ange.

Ange was exciting because he brought a bit of the unkown and all out attack. There were signs of being vulnerable from day one, we just had to hang on and hope for the best.
Frank resetting us and setting a strong stable base to build off.

Yeah. Frank has a proven track record of success with lower level players than he now has access to in the same league we compete in.
Ange had never managed in a proper football league in his life (and probably won't again).
Really appreciate his willingness to discuss slightly more in-depth tactics and decision making in interviews instead of cliches to have the interview end quickly.
Come on Levy give the man a fucking chance and buy him 3 or 4 more top draw footballers. He wont, but he should do.
