if that Bald crook would have bought him some players we could have gone for the title this season... you know... like he said he wanted to do.

Sadly, this win will no doubt encouraging him that we don't need to do much now, because he doesn't care about the title... or glory, generally.

Depends how old you are! 😂
It’s far too soon. But let’s go with the premier league era.

Mourinho was shit tactically. Just relied on Kane and Son to win games. Conte was sussed out after 6 months. Ange the same. Poch didnt know how to make subs and made weird gambles tactically that didn’t work. Redknapp had many strengths but not tactics - run around a bit. AVB - never really got him.

Jol was decent.

90s …. Not really an era for tactical intelligence

We were glorious today. I know you're perogative is to moan about levy, which I back you on, but for today, let's just enjoy the moment

Genuinely outclassed Pep today.

I don't know if anyone else caught it, but when they were doing the handshakes one of the Spurs players said to Frank "You were right, fucking hell".

Today's game was the first chance I've had to watch the team closely, in Palhinha and Bentancur we finally have a midfield pairing that can shut down games.

Richie with a nice low ball to Johnson, just stay healthy please.

It's amazing to see the difference in the team in such a short time.

It's a very encouraging start, but lets not start getting carried away, claiming Frank is "the best coach we've had".

Yes, we beat Man City away 2-0, which is an excellent result. But last season we beat them 4-0 at the Etihad. The season before that we beat them 3-0.

The Burnley home result was good too, but they're basically last seasons Southampton, and we beat them 5-0 last year at home.

And in Tomas Frank's first game we threw away a chance to win a European Trophy. Whereas we all know how our previous European Trophy match went.

I like Frank, as a person, and he does look tactically more astute than our previous manager so far, but it's very early days.

Haven't we learned our lesson from Ange Postecoglou's first couple of months?
