Great analysis, but that’s limited to City. Watching Frank's teams, he adjusts constantly, even multiple times mid-game, so I genuinely don’t know what his game identity is.

What is impressive is that we pulled off an organised/coordinated game plan off of the ball - as we did vs PSG - in an accomplished manner. How things play out from here who knows but seeing the players pick up what the manager is putting across is very encouraging, especially when two years in to last managers reign we didn't look any closer to playing his way than we did at the beginning.

Franks tactics are more conventional and the players would almost certainly have experienced similar tactics in their careers There is nothing innovative about what they're being asked to do, but the instructions are clear, familiar, the players understand it and they can execute it.

really think with a bit of luck with injuries we really could at least put a challenge on the scum and liverpool as neither of them look great, we will see how that one plays out sunday and it will be interesting.

our current back 4 imo is as good as anyone's, maybe even the best. porro has elite technical ability to play passes and crosses, romero is romero, VDV is a very clean passer, can break the lines himself and obviously rapid, spence is rapid and has come on leaps and bounds in the last year, looking like the best lb in the league right now. stick any RW in the world up against him and they aint going to beat him and expose him, he proved that against PSG.

midfield now has an elite break up and screener in pal, probably our most important signing by end of the year, sarr who looks to be playing his best football now and an elite engine. bentancur who can hopefully get back to his best this year and the signs so far are looking that way, then we have berg who we know has talent, maybe it might be his breakout year too? then gray, who, if frank can get hold of him and inject some aggression in the kid, it could be the making of him.

then up front richy who looks to be finally playing his best football (probably because we have a proper manager using him as he should be used) and a very decent backup in solanke. kudus who is a brilliant signing and is also massive in helping mitigate porros weaker side of the game, xavi who is a bit of an unknown but i am sure at least upgrades tel and odobert right now... johnson who we all know can get goals, even if he doesnt offer much else. kulu to come back in a couple months...its all looking pretty promising..

would say vic would be a worry with his kicking, but frank has clearly mitigated that by letting him just go long if he doesnt feel confident enough to play short with a bit of a press on. in games where theres not a real worry of our goal being peppered id like to see kinsky who has the ability to literally put us through on goal.

then we finally have the most important man of the lot in frank!! who so far is proving to be an actual football man and understands how this game works!!!

the more i think about it, the more i think 25/1 is fucking unreal value!!!!!

this post will be deleted if we dont beat bournemouth.
