Sorry but it's time porro got his arse dropped. Teams are now regularly exploiting his defensive frailties. Though tbh for me the only surprise is they've taken so long to work it out . we've got an easy fix ,. Spence on RHS and udogie on LHS..Frank worked it out on Saturday... And we did look a touch better, So hopefully he's seen the light and it'll happen.

He came up against arguably the best left sided forward in the Prem, no need to drop him based on that because it won't happen again for a while.

Marmoush was also handing him his ass vs City in the first half - has hasn't offered a whole lot going forward this season either. No one should have a guaranteed place.

I was surprised that Kudus didn’t help him more, like what he did vs City, but maybe it was the way we and Bournemouth were set up that led to Kudus concentrating on making our attack happen (since nothing was happening in any other area of the pitch). For these situations, against someone like Semenyo, I too hope that Frank would consider playing Spence there as an option.

It’s really impressive coaching. Only a matter of time until he goes to a big club and I think we might have missed out.

I’m really happy with Frank but there will be an element of what could have been if we’d hired him instead. That said, he didn’t win for his first 10 games as Bournemouth manager which says it all.

Frank will be great for us I have no doubts

Iraola ran his team into the ground last season with his relentless tactics. They won 4 of their last 15 only picking up 16 points.

His tactics are not sustainable over a full season, let alone one with Europe thrown in.

Your right he was. Maybe drop Porro and move Spence to right back then.

My suggestions were just that though - suggestions. I trust Frank to make his own changes based on what he sees in training etc.

As long as he does make a number of changes. He can't start more or less the same team again after that performance. You shouldn't be rewarding mediocrity.

Yeah he's a bit like a younger Ange in that sense. V.talented manager but would need a very deep squad to manage that style in Europe without getting a ton of injuries and burnout.

Frank will hopefully be undaunted by the challenge.

Every decent Spurs fan should see this season as one where Frank tries a few things and gets to grip with the new expectation. Won't be easy but he wouldn't be here if it was.

I just hope that by next summer, with what I think is going to be a top 10 finish and who knows what in the cups, that he is backed, based on his assessment of the need at that time. I inckude in that Bentancur and a very average Bissouma.

It's as clear as day we will need 2 strikers, that the likes of Maddison, Solanke. Richarlison, and one or two others won't be here for the long term.

Frank needs to be strong in his conviction, and seek to bring in the quality we need, if it is there to be acquired.

Sacking Ange to get Iraola would have been some galaxy brain nonsense.

They are very similar in philosophy but one of them wins trophies. The other hangs their hat on being popular with the tacticos.

I disagree. I find this whole rebuild/project talk completely unacceptable. But even if we are giving another manager 12 months grace, we should not be getting battered by Bournemouth in our own back yard. Anyone who accepts that as "a blip" or "Frank needs time" should have a long look at themselves in the mirror. It's inexcusable whether you have been here 3 years or 3 months to turn in that performance. Yes, we will lose games, no problem, but to lose in that manner is a problem. We are not an experiment for a manager to try a few things. He should have a clear plan and on Saturday he didn't. He couldn't even motivate them to push themselves to be competitive. Vast improvements needed and quickly.

You are entitled to disagree. I have outlined my view.

Ah come on his defensive frailty has been mentioned on here for an age ...Its not just on that one performance.. psg pushed wide and pushed him back and the rest was history... He's fine going forward .. but keep wide and push him back and he's more than limited . He's a fucking liability.. we've got more than enough wide right players to cover what we're losing with his occasional decent delivery. Bench Time for him, and besides that Spence more than deserves a run on his favoured side
