Wasn’t he sacked immediately after that rant? He couldn’t really switch off he was fucked off.

No, he jumped on a plane and refused to return to England

edit: this was him just after

All I heard when Frank came in the job was how he traditionally got off to a really rough start and then grew into the job. If this is that bedding in period then we’re off to a great start.

Needs to learn how to take the game to teams at home.
Needs to learn CL football.
Needs to remember he's not at Brentford.

He'll get there.

When you read shit like this you have to realise yourself that this is why there are managers and why there are fans who arent managers ?

"just learn CL football frank... and remember youre not at Brentford"

what an impressive way to dumb down the countless hours and effort that goes into coaching a professional team.
All of it wildly beyond your ability of course.

We can probably carry on playing like this for a few more weeks, as the upcoming fixtures are still on the kinder side. In the next 30 days we're playing:

Brighton away (by far the most difficult one of the bunch)
Doncaster
Wolves
Bodo away
Leeds away

We might hit a brick wall after that, not dissimilar to the one we hit under Ange at around the same time two seasons ago, as injuries, suspensions and fatigue all come into play in addition to tougher opponents.

I fancy us in the big matches or the teams that want to attack us, it's the teams that sit men behind the ball in a mid or low block we will struggle with

Frank literally said he wants to build a strong defence and foundation and build from there.

We have attacking players who have barely played together before so of course there will be misplaced passes, and the chemistry you need for good attacking patterns just isn't there yet. We looked clueless going forward, but it's to be expected, even though it made the match a shit watch.

The performance first half was ok, we were quite comfortable, our attack was poor.

Second half was pretty woeful, but the structure was still there generally and it wasn't like we were getting bent over like we looked like under Ange.

Even this Saturday for example, even if we turn up and play like shit, at least the foundation Frank has given us means we should be in with a chance of a result.

Says we have a strong foundation and want to build the offensive structure more and more.

Obvious, if you think about it.

Came into a club that was haemorrhaging at the back and had to sort it out and ingrain new principles and discipline into the players.

The attacking side will come.

Always impressed with how he has already identified and thought through the issues without having had time to rewatch plays.
