Barring a string of consecutive losses, I'd say half a season. As with anything though, it's about asking the right questions.

Frank is clearly very analytical and structured, so I'd be giving him a full season to implement his ideas and determine the strengths and weaknesses of the squad.

Much better attacking performance, but we were too open today. Same as Villarreal.

That being said I'm confident he'll be able to find the right balance between the two soon.
 
Fixed the leaks at halftime, that's always encouraging to see.

I'm surprised how aggressively he's rotating the team, he virtually never did (other than to change the shape) at Brentford playing once a week. It's a good thing, so long as you can keep a consistent level and rhythm in the team.
 
looked better when we took bentancur off, not sure what hes thinking with the johnson sub tho, if we was winning 2-1 and they are chasing the game then you can understand it, but against a side sitting it....makes no sense and we effectively had 10 men because of it.
 
Its kind of going how I expected to. The manager is a huge improvement from last year. The forward line has been upgraded. But we still lack depth, experience and quality in places to win away games like this after a European night.

I think we will finish 6th. Newcastle are probably a little stronger.

Unfortunately I make my money on cold hard numbers. 13 points is better than 9 in my accounting book.

Ange in his first season had 13 points after 5 games. Thomas has 10!!

Statistically Mr Postecoglou’s record of 13 points in his first 5 league games has not been bettered by Mr Frank.

Vis a vis Mr Frank is not an improvement.
