I'm glad you're not sticking to your guns and calling him out, it seems like there's a section of people who won't let your have a bad thing to say about thjs manager mainly because they've gone so far in their criticism of our previous one that they'll back this one no matter what as it justifies their arguments and position.
I do like Frank and expect him to get it right but I don't like what I'm seeing at the moment and thst can be alievated by making a couple of simple switches to the team which he has field to do thus far.
Absolutely. I have no agenda at all. I worked out Ange was a fraud very early on and nothing I saw changed my opinion on that, which is why I was so vocally Ange out for so long.
I'll always call it as I see it. I think Frank will be a success even though he wasn't my top choice. Iraola was. But at the same time I will also call it out when I see him making mistakes.
The Xavi on the left experiment needs to end. For me, the very basic part of a manager's remit is picking the right team, the right players in the right position. I think Frank has done some good things, he'd made us much more solid and harder to beat, we defend far better, and there's also some leeway he needs to be granted by the fact that we have Maddison, Kulu, Solanke and Muani out which is a really important group of players which should help our attack.
So of course he needs time to get things going in terms of the attack and that's fine.
But playing Xavi on the left, and picking two DMs and Lucas was just a terrible decision. At home to the bottom team. I just don't understand it.
Mind you, we aren't the only fans moaning about that. Look at Woolwich and Arteta, he also goes overly cautious with his midfield selection.
So yeah I'm not going to start saying Frank is terrible, or anything like that. He has overall done a good job so far, but the home performances have been woeful and he needs to improve on that fast. Hopefully he will with time get it all sorted.
I was really angry about last night, just fed up of watching us under numerous managers and 80% of the time we stink the place out.
