Ange did win us the Europa league (although I’ll die on the hill and say any manager could have won that for us! It was such an easy run) but let’s not forget the amount of run ins he had with fans! Just disrespectful to us most of the time!

The players won that cup, despite his nonsense.

In a second season of being here, Frank would have won that standing on his head, with that run, and the squad we had (fit attacking players included).

We were favourites for a reason.

Thank senior players and Mason/Wells for persuading him to at least employ basic defending standard for the last 5 games and ditch his schoolyard chaosball.

I'm having absolutely no revisionism on this.

The guy is a bum and took the absolute piss out of the fans to their faces.

I think Frank has got as good a chance as any of doing it, but getting top 4 after last season would be at the very height of expectations.

5 pts (record low points score over a season)

OK we blew the Brighton last game with a collective hangover, but against that one point was AFCB 2-2 which was grand larceny

27 goals conceded (over 2 a game)

no clean sheets

He left the team in an absolute mess, no question

Thing is, I'm sure even the fans that followed him to Spurs know now that 17th was him, not the squad.
Largely the same squad finished 5th the season before. And the season before that were 3rd when Conte had a meltdown. And the season before that was 4th.

We are a team that should be up and around that top 4 every season. And in the last 10 years, we have been there or thereabouts more often than not.

So aiming for 4th this season, after last seasons 17th isn't AS big of a leap as some think it is.
