His presser is boring AF, just like our play. The transcript of his presser sounds inspiring at times, but he sounds totally nothing like that.

His first sentence, 'I think the way the game end out was exactly how we expected it to be'. Wtf? He expected a loss straight away?

It is right that he doesn't throw players under the bus, no problem with that. If he is being honest though we were great for 20 minutes and after that we didn't really lay a glove on them.

Martinez made 1 save worth the name, I was right in line and it was going wide anyway ... he didn't know that though.

Here's a cryptic (totally not assisted by A.I.):

Beneath the tangled midnight skein,
Silent gait on haunted green,
Nine joined paths entwine and blur,
Whispers thread the hidden spur.

Born from shadowed ancient groves,
Where silver curves defy the crows,
A pact of claws in subtle dance,
Echo soft—beware the stance.

Not the lion’s roar or wings of flight,
Nor crimson tides in fading light,
But quietly the riddle stings,
Sharp as threads a spinner brings.

Seek the shape that stirs unrest,
A skeletal crest upon the chest,
Veiled within this cryptic verse:
A veiled hint—incite, disperse.

Edgar Allan Poe?

The one thing I found really odd yesterday came after the fast start we made, right after Kudus had scored his offside goal.

This really irked me as it wasn't anything Villa did, it was us. Although Emery is very good at adapting his tactics.

After rattling them we then decided to slow the game right down playing slow build up passes out from back starting with Vicario.

Who the hell is responsible for that happening? The tempo of the game changed and Emery, rightly so recognised this immediately and put the high press on us.

For me it comes from a lack of team confidence to progress the ball up the pitch and through the lines, two sitters will do this and obviously losing Romero's ability to step up and pass out compounded matters.

Frank has to have a rethink in how he wants us to play because there's going to be more of this at home if he doesn't.

The tempo we're playing at isn't conducive to forcing the opposition back and building sustained attacks.

We're letting them implement their away tactics too easily.

People complaining about his subs but they need to remember he's a defensively pragmatic guy who's experiences at Brentford have him behave a certain way and that does need to be modified if he wants to be successful here but it's going to take time.

It's hard to judge the guy on one hand because he is working with a team in the main who were shit last season and he's missing 50 goal contributions from the team from last season which is a hell of a lot.

Still he doesn't help himself with the Ben/Pal pairing when we've had to play possession ball, it's totally innnefective and makes us look blunt, as I said in the match thread only so many times you can keep getting away with non sustainable football until it catches up with you.

Spurs went from Son / Kane / Kulusevski to Odobert / Tel / Kudus

And everyone wants to blame the coach. It was actually a miracle that Ange was able to turn Johnson, Son and Solanke into the top scoring team in the Prem for the first half of last season.

Not replacing Moura, Son and Kane is the issue. Kane should never have been allowed to leave - Spurs should have backed the coach with the elite players he needed to progress.
Not much point in keeping Harry when he wanted to go....you don't want disgruntled and unhappy players in the team not feeling the motivation. I do agree about the non-replace policy...they should have taken the whole Kane money and bought the very best striker they could find...
oh well. It's all in the past..

You are the prime example of it pal.

Forming an agenda against a manager less than 10 games in just so when he inevitably gets sacked like all of our managers in 18 months you can say I told you so.

Never seen you once offer an encouraging word about a player or actually support the club.

fuck off
That's it. If Frank gets sacked it's because someone on the forum said he should. Nothing to do with the dross being served up on the pitch.

Makes perfect sense.

Another prat who calls himself a fan and does nothing but slag off everything about the club.

14 points from 8 games and 6th in the table. 4 points from 6 in the CL is far from dross.

Your expectations are in lala land along with your brain.

Go and support somebody else you fucking mug, your whining does my head in.

I don't think that's accurate at all. We were the far better team in the 2nd half until they brought their subs on.

AV went large chunks of both halves without bothering us at all.

Hahahaha oh dear, the toys are really out of the pram today. The gate keeping fans, pathetic behaviour.

I'm tired of being shit, tired of watching shit. We should demand more and not accept what we get. Watching sideways passes between two DM's with the only attacking plan, get the ball to Kudus is pathetic. 14 points from a very favourable 8 games. With how were playing, I am very confident we'll be bottom half by mid November at the latest. We're playing like shite and scraping results. Against a run of much better sides from yesterday to the new year, most people here will want him gone. He's Nuno 2.0. There is literally nothing to like about this dross.

Sorry I upset you babe.

Against actual good sides, and we failed the fordt test against a very ordinary Villa side, playing woefully, again. It's not going to get easier.
The next home game is Chelsea, it is definitely not going to get easier. The atmosphere will be very different from Sunday and the result will be even bigger than usual I would say.

If we win then Frank will get a lot of flowers but another home defeat and the pressure will go up another notch. Specially if it is days after we go out of the Cup at Sid James Park. I guess this is what he signed up for though, to see how he does when the temperature is rising.

After Chelsea at home it's United.

We definitely need to win one of those.

I
The fanbase of this club activley plays a part in holding it back.

Its unreal.

I slate the club plenty but I like to think I slate them fairly when they aren't putting in a shift. I call bullshit.

Yesterday we played well yet the stadium still erupted into boos at the end which was the loudest we had been all afternoon.
It was embarrassing.

Is it any wonder we are ranked amongst the most deluded, entitled and worst fanbases in the top flight by neutrals?

So where's this ranking table then ?
