This is the most Un-Spurs squad of my lifetime.

- Depth (despite an injury crisis)
- decent defensive options
- no world class players (Kane and Son or Modric and Bale)
More so is that our recruitment has been modelled in a very un spurs like manner.

Part of what attracts players managers and fans to this club is the association of having highly technical players, mavericks, flair, geniuses, flash of brilliance and imagination.

Slowly over the years that has been eeked out and we're left with basically athletes. And injured ones at that!

Now I'd say it's the case of modern football and analytics that it's turned like this but part of why it's boring is that there's very little freedom allowed for players to express themselves anymore.

But certainly a Tottenham team should not be bereft of skill and quality in the way it is currently.

We will see in the summer what this new ENIC is all about, might get something in Jan but the summer will be the judgement post Levy.
January will be the litmus test for the summer though.

We desperately need a left footed LB and a striker in January. No excuses.
And if Everton are interested in Richarlison the flog him in Jan to fund it. Hopefully Solanke and RKM are back by then.

But we know the same excuse will come out. Nobody does any deals in January blah blah blah.

They're 12th.

It's 11 games into the season.

What are you even talking about??

Who makes a post like this???

Wtf is going on in this place????
I'm stating a fact. Funnily enough they made the exact same comparison on MOTD a short while after I posted this.
My point is that recruitment is the biggest single factor in the success or failure of a team.
Look at Liverpool , champions with klopp' s team , struggling in comparison because of bad recruitment and sales , ie : Diaz.
I have never seen you criticising Frank ,not even just a tiny bit , only defending him to the hilt , no matter what. As if he's perfect. He certainly wasn't yesterday , he got the starting line up all wrong.
Could be that both Frank and Andrews are very good managers or they are both bang average or worse. But they are getting identical results with the same club, although one has a worse squad and is a rookie manager.
Make of that what you will.

They just lost Mbeumo, Norgaard, Wissa and Flekken lmao, four starting XI players including their best player and top scorer.

To be only 2 places away from last season … yeah that’s doing better, considering.
Same points , results and even GA with a much worse starting eleven , so yeah they are doing better and have taken some big scalps after some tough fixtures as well.
They've beaten Newcastle, Liverpool , Utd and Villa. Drawn with Chelsea as well.

If you don't think losing Mbeumo , wissa and Norguard makes their squad worse then there's not much else I can say.
I couldn't give a crap what players they lost.

Our team is a fecking mess, that struggles to put two passes together or get the basics right. Far to many of our players are over rated, and we look down our noses at other team players... But at least they can get basics right.

I have a list of upto 15 players, some depending on they play for the rest of the season.

Frank took over a cluster-fuck, the guy at Brentford took over a well organised and displined team. and seem to have spent the money wisely.

Where we spunked £160 million up the wall for Richi, Johnson, and Solanke...

Don't blame me for you seeing what you want to see and not seeing what you don't.

This is all wrong and Frank needs to change it.,

Spacing is wrong and not allowing us to move the ball properly.

Frank must change.

Game over tbh.

Started the wrong 11.

Draw would now be a miracle imo.

Can't rotate like that until we have better quality squad.

This is where he went wrong.

Agreed.

If it wasn't due to hard rotation because of injury concerns, there was no need to tinker.

That was absolutely the wrong starting 11 for this game.

----Vic----
----Porro-----Romero----VDV----Udogie----
----Palhina----Sarr----
----Johnson-----Xavi----Odobert----
----Kolo---

We'd have taken the lead with that if he'd have started with it.

We ended up still dominating the game, overall, but that would have changed the initial direction and I don't think they come back if we get our foothold in the game first, today.

Silly boy.

Now, this is your post:

Brentford doing better than under Frank with a rookie manager and after losing half their team ( the best half). Umm.

That seems clear to me.

*Brentford are doing better than they did under Frank*

Reasonable for me to challenge that, as they have only played 11 games and are 12th in the league.

Can you explain your reasoning to me?

Why, in your mind, does only 11 games, exclusively, constitute "doing better" than Frank, when Frank has FINISHED seasons at Brentford at 10th and 9th?

Or are you just on the wildest agenda ever and talking all sorts of crazy?

You are unhinged.

Why does that post constitute me being "unhinged"?

What an odd thing to say.

Is this SpiderSpurs' multi btw?

Suspiciously just as batshit.

Same ludicrous tone to each insufferable post.

It's not really an excuse though is it. Nobody wants to sell their best players in January. If they do, the compensation is usually at a premium which means dropping 60m on a gamble type player. Quite frankly I'd rather we kept our powder dry. If we we can find a loan/buy option for a player we've all heard of and who can improve the starting eleven then I'm all for that. Im talking about a Theo Hernandez type player but sadly that ship has sailed and he took Saudi money. But that's the sort of player I'm interested in. Unfortunately there aren't too many available in the summer let alone January.
