It’s just about splashing the dish. For example chirki cost lesss than most of our forwards and midfielders but gets higher wage. I’d really like to k ow how much chirki is on compared to say Tel who I’m sure was on 90K when on loan. If correct that is a joke wage for someone who has done f all. So pay the wages for real quality especially if they don’t need to cost that much in the first place.That Rice purchase was a difference maker for sure.

Yeah...I'm still on the fence, personally.
Few would deny the football is dour and uninspiring. And nobody would deny the home form is an abomination.
But.....He's been dealt a cack hand with the squad he inherited and Levy is now out the way so I think it's a little premature to give a definitive judgement either way.

We do have some truly diabolically bad footballers at this club.

If it's still poor this time next year after a few windows, then yeah, questions need to be asked.
But right now, no manager would have been doing better with both hands tied behind their backs.
The squad is in such an appaling state it's going to take years to correct.
After last season, I'm surprised we are so far up the league and still unbeaten in the CL
