Frank In because it’s dumb and infantile to want him out after only 3 months, especially with his best attacking/creative players injured.
However, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t concerned about the style of play. I love the tactical adaptability, especially after Ange, and Conte for that matter, but I need to see evidence SOON that he can have us playing with some flair and dynamism.
I’ve been a fan since the early 2000s but really got hooked in the Rednapp period (when it became regularly available on TV here), thinking this is a fun fucking team to get behind, and supposedly it’s always been their style.

Lumping the ball up the pitch generally does tend to diminish a players ability to take a good first touch. You'll also probably be surprised to hear that Kudus takes twice as many bad touches as Richy in a game.

We've already had 10 'difficult seasons', of ENIC's 24 seasons, puctuated with mid season; managerial sackings.
This team is currently as bad as any previous ENIC team; in terms of quality, in my opinion.
We are where we are.
We need huge investment not a cheap imitation managed by thrift and pragmatic football.

This argument is just so stupid. Like, as if we keep an underperforming manager for years and then we're automatic contenders? Cases like Arteta are one in a million. I'm sure this place was also gleefully laughing at Arteta ball those first few seasons as well, hardly any shots on target and being a diabolical watch, are now the same people getting defensive over Frank doing the same, but worse.
But yes, let's keep him for 5 years, 10 windows, only then can you really judge a manager, ye know. The reality is, people can't be objective about something they like and live in denial and fantasy land.
Arteta has spunked a fortune on the current Woolwich team.
The board have backed him but I am not convinced they will win the league this season or that Arteta is a good enough manager to have been backed in the manner that he has.
They have gambled on Arteta.
Time will tell if he was worth the punt.
The money he has spent so far has yielded very little of note.
Wenger's style of play has now been thrown under the bus in pursuit of something credible.
It could just as easily go tits up as work out the way they are hoping.
I don't necessarily think Arteta is all that either. For me, with the money spent and players available, he's underachieving and I don't see them winning the league now that City have woken up, finally.
With a squad as deep as that, which is probably deeper than Cities now, there's no excuses. He has to start winning stuff soon or there'll be big questions. Too good a squad not to win anything.
It would be great to see it implode in on itself, again.
You cant just go and spend big money, the selling club might just want to keep their star player and tell Spurs to get lost, but in kinder words.
January is difficult to business, and spunking money for the sake of getting things done is not an option either. Tired of this club wasting money and getting 2nd rate players in return.
Let's just see what they do, but I am waiting for the summer to se what they are really up to.
